The facilities and staff were great. However, one member of staff had such bad body odour it was polluting the air around him and making the whole experience unpleasant. I don’t mean to be rude by this post but feel it needs to be said so it is addressed for both the staff and customers there.

We came to rock up today and actually disappointed. Compare to other climbing parks. I thought there was lack of staff to help kids and even though they can do their own clip on and clip off, I think some kids can struggle. My son has autism , but is quite independent and he struggled with the clips because they are quite tough and he is 11 years old and they seem to rely on parents to help kids clip on and off .Other Parks normally ask children put their hands up when they would unclip them for them, which I think would be better. I also think there’s not many walls to climb either compared to competitors. My son got stuck on one of the high ropes that got jammed. The staff member I felt got frustrated with him as he couldn’t get past, and even though he didn’t know he has autism, every kid takes instructions diffently , so I actually question what the autism sessions are like. I also think £2.65 for a cup of tea (hot water and a tea bag) is extortionate . Maybe bring your own drinks

This review is for anyone who is thinking of having a party here.So I had a party for 20 kids here.Good side: first it’s still new and very clean, climbing and soft play are good combination for kids. Food was really good, there are decent snacks beside plenty of pizzas.Bad side: very short of staff. Prepare to do a lot of things yourself: ask for drink top-up, looking for a knife for cake. NO PARTY ORGANISER AT ALL. Also leave plenty of time for food maybe go up early. After eating for 18 mins, a staff came to me and said: you have to finish in 12 mins, it looks like we’ve double booked ourselves.Great, didn’t even do cake at that point, had to rush to sing the song etc., and cut 20 slices for everyone to take away. Yes, cut cakes by yourself of course.Overall: it’s a good place for kids to have a party, they all enjoyed it. But as the hosting family, prepare to do a lot by yourselves. With over £20 per head, not even got any staff allocated was really beyond my expectations.

Not a pleasant experience. Tried to book the £9.50 toddler climb and soft play. I was told this was only available at 10:30am. There is nothing on any pricing to indicate that. It clearly says £9.50! When I went to wave the card over the reader, I noticed it said £14. When I asked, I was told this is because you can’t do the toddler session. The manager came over and said look on the website. So… I did! Nothing! Then she smugly remarked, we’ll you can’t book the toddler session can you? That needs to be more clear on your sign!I was then told he can’t go in the soft play because his wrist band was the wrong colour. Hang on? I’ve just paid £14. That’s a standard climb only price! The soft play is extra! To top it off, I was there with my toddler and baby. There was no assistance from most of the staff. I was left to try do it myself with a baby in hand. I explained at the till, this was our first time and asked if he could go in by himself. I was told they will assist him clipping on. I’m afraid, there was just an utter lack of care from most of the staff. There was one member of staff that was (to be fair) brilliant. They saw me struggling and played with the baby while I clipped the toddler on. I wish I caught their name. They took a 1 star experience to three. Not pleased with the experience.

Overall good selection of walls to climb, a lot smaller than I realised, but for the price it’s not bad. Staff were mixed. Some were really kind and helpful some looked like they would rather fall from a skyscraper than be there. They were short staffed today so this affected starting times thus our climb session was running late due to this. For it been a new place some of the climbing areas already need attention due to wear and this could be looked at. The toddler session time would fe better if they advertised it’s not really suitable for 2 y/o as I don’t believe a lot is really suitable for little ones which is a shame. The venue was clean and bright. Overal it’s a good climb but some of it feels unclimatic and disappointing from the website. I wouldn’t prebook but would come down look at the place then decide from there if you fancy a climb. Now I’ve climbed it’s done. I wouldn’t come back. And for little ones I would wait till their at least 3 minimum

my wife and kids did not enjoy our experience at rock up as it was full of smelly staff and there was toe clippings and crumbs all over the floor on the mats at the harness section, however staff were pretty helpful and i enjoyed the safety talk before getting on the wall, on the other hand my wife and kids like jumping front he top of the wall without the harness on which juxtaposes my enjoyment and the wifes hatred. so to conclude great time out had a blast, deserve a cheeky kikkat chunky to all staff for being so helpful, thank you and goodnight. ;)
