After our initial conversation with Lianne I felt confident that she understood our needs and she was spot on with suggesting Peter as our tutor.Peter is a fantastic tutor. My son actively looks forward to the sessions and enjoys all the learning. Peter is warm, friendly and kind and explains things with a positive and patient approach. His experience as a teacher shines through.

I have been so very fortunate to find Choice Home Tutoring whilst searching for a French tutor for my son to re-take his French GCSE which he narrowly missed out on .. (his high school takes an accelerated language in year 9).From the moment I spoke to Lianne, I felt completely reassured that I would be linked to the best tutor for my son’s needs . Lianne’s vast experience as a teacher, plus her passion and infectious enthusiasm for education is fantastic . My son has special educational needs in the form of moderate dyslexia and slow processing and Lianne advised me on the best possible match of tutor to understand his learning style and boost his flagging confidence.The French tutor I was guided towards,Alexandra Brooke-Barr, is one in a million .The lessons were conducted online. Fantastic value for an hour. From the outset Alex developed a great rapport with my 14 year old year old son, going at his pace, yet gently encouraging his confidence to help him to understand and enjoy his French . She gave him learning tips to help him to not over complicate, to keep it simple and explained the marking scheme to him .She provided lots of material via email , past papers and links but was careful not to bombard him.Her personality is gentle and warm and this lady is highly intelligent and has a great passion for her subject which helped my son to engage and flourish.Alex is so accommodating, going the extra mile to fit in with extra tuition near the exams , so flexible, ultra punctual, communicating with me throughout and providing feedback on his progress with a report straightaway after the lesson finished.I honestly can’t rate her highly enough .She is a true credit to her profession.Grateful thanks to Lianne and Alex both absolute true professionals !! X

The tutor was brilliant at engaging my daughter, bolstering her confidence and coaching her to achieve the very highest A level grade in her recent mocks. Her knowledge of the E-LAT and her ability to support in preparation for the Oxford and Cambridge examinations was fantastic. Julie has been a great English tutor. She’s kind, considerate, and very helpful throughout my GCSEs, such as giving very good advice and making the lessons fun. I highly recommend this tutor.

I joined Choice Home Tutoring as a tutor back in September 2022 and from the very start they have been amazing to work with. Throughout the recent academic year I’ve never been short on work and both Julie and Lianne have been incredibly supportive. After 2 years of broken schooling, our daughter hit year 6 feeling unprepared and out of her depth - this affected her self confidence and belief that she could achieve anything. We decided tuition was the way to go and contacted Choice HT for help. Haley got in touch quickly to discuss our requirements and arranged the first session within a week. She was an instant hit with our daughter, who since then has gained so much confidence and positivity - and that is all down to Haley's kind and gently way, whilst being focused and determined. Our daughter said this morning 'I feel a bit excited about SATs now', and arrived home tonight with a smile on her face! Mission accomplished! Thank you Haley.

I first made an enquiry with Choice Tutoring back in March 2020. I was looking for a maths tutor for my daughter who at the time was in Y10. Lianne was my first point of contact and we quickly established a great relationship, Lianne has been accessible throughout the whole time that we have used Choice Tutoring either by text, phone or email. My daughter was paired with Amanda and we have never looked back. Due to timing, the whole of Amanda's lessons have been remote however this has not stopped my daughter and Amanda building a fantastic relationship. Amanda has not only helped with the knowledge side of things but has increased my daughter's confidence ten fold. She has gone from strength to strength and has just taken her last assessment towards her GCSE's and came out of the exam saying how much she had enjoyed it. I would definitely use Choice Tutoring again and I cannot recommend Amanda enough, she has been amazing.

I contacted Lianne in a panic 6 months ago as my son needed a Physics tutor urgently, Lianne was fantastic! She is a mum and an ex teacher she showed great empathy and was so understanding. Her communication was fantastic, telling me exactly who she planned to ask to tutor my son, giving me their background and lots of reassurance that she had just the person for the job! She very quickly came back to me to confirm that she had secured a perfect tutor called Jason, a High School science teacher specialising in Physics.Jason has been great, he has been extremely flexible and has gone the extra mile by tailoring a plan to my sons specific learning needs. It’s clear that he really wants my son to do well in his impending assessments and has offered extra sessions accordingly. He has even continued to tutor during the school holidays.I would highly recommended CHT, Lianne and Jason. Lianne is clearly passionate about helping children to achieve their best. If my son needs help with his A Levels CHT will be my first port of call!
