Update following review below - we have now finished on our window installation! Following this experience I've revised my star rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. To summarise our experience:Positives- Quality product (the windows are great)- Installation team excellent (though in hindsight I wish that we hadn't gone 'supply only' as I think we may have received better customer service if Privett hadn't just 'handed over' the windows to their own fitters who we then paid independently)Negatives- Communication was poor - requiring a lot of chasing on my wife's behalf. I think in part this was due to some of the windows being provided by a third party supplier- Frustrations around disposal of old windows - we ended up having to spend £100 to pay a company to clear the old windows. We were never instructed that this cost wouldn't be part of the deal and It was very disappointing to have to pay for this.If all you care about is the end product then I definitely recommend Privett. If however you want good customer service BEWARE! Personally I was expecting that a company that prided itself on first class customer service would have accepted the fact that there was a lack of clarity around disposal and offered to resolve. They did not. It's primarily due to this customer service and their lack of wanting to solve my issues that I cannot rate them higher than 3 stars._____For clarity - myself, and my neighbours, are currently in the process of getting our windows 'upgraded' to double glazing by Privett Timber Windows - so this is very much an 'in progress' review.The windows themselves appear to be high quality but we've experienced some issues around customer services - which i'm hoping will be resolved as the company states that they have First class customer service" (I'll do a follow up review at the end of this installation)Issues for ourselves on this service primarily revolve around:1) Lack of transparency on disposal of old windows. We have just had 2 bay windows and another 2 bedroom windows replaced with Privetts Acoustic spec windows and they are AMAZING! It Cuts out aircraft and train noise, and I can finally sleep through the night! Their team was polite, clean, efficient and hard working, Oh and friendly! I have no hesitation in recommending them not only to friends but also clients as I am a local Architectural Designer. And I cross checked their quote against another reputable company and they were considerably better value for money.This photo on the day they went in, they spent another 2 days making good, adding architraves etc. Leaving just some decoration for hubby to do around the edges. Easy Peasy

Terrific product. Excellent installation by a extremely professional, approachable team. Office folk are all a pleasure to deal with although sometimes a little disorganized. Overall, highly, highly recommend.

Andrius and his team replaced all our front windows / front porch / front door a year ago. They did a fantastic job and we could not be happier with it. Andrius was able to advise on the windows style and detailing so that the Edwardian style of the house was matched by the windows. The manufacturing and finish of the windows and door are second to none. And finally the workmanship was impeccable. Workmen were tidy, considerate with a high level of finish. The pointing around the windows in particular was splendid and a year after look just as good. Would recommend Privett very highly.

Excellent windows, superb advice on the design details and an excellent fitting service. We investigated eight different window companies and found that Privett’s products were easily the best quality. The Edwardian style frames they offered us were just what we wanted and Privett’s attention to getting the minor design details right is very impressive. We used their flexifit option to reduce the price and this worked out very well for us. Privett have now replaced all of our windows and our back door and we can say that we thoroughly recommend them.

Great product and quality in the windows and doors provided for our full house renovation project.This is the second time we've used Privett for our windows and doors - on both occasions the product and service has been five stars!

After shopping around for a number of quotes for replacement of our Victorian sash windows, we were impressed by the standard of windows being offered by Privett. After the windows were fitted earlier this month, we are very pleased with the end result. The windows themselves are excellent (we can finally open them, after many years of being unable to do so with the original 100 year old windows), but we are also pleased with the fitting and making good that the fitting team carried out. The team was very professional, extremely pleasant to work with and their attention to detail was outstanding with consultation on all aspects as they went along. Overall, an excellent outcome.

We've just finished having 14 windows and 2 doors manufactured and installed by Privett. In the design stage Andrius offered excellent advice - subtle changes that showed real expertise and a passion to do things right. The windows are beautiful and a perfect match for our 1890s property.The installation was flawless, and the care and attention to making good spot on - I'm pretty fussy and can't find anything at all to snag.Andrius and everyone we dealt with was communicative and flexible throughout, could not recommend highly enough.Photos are after making good, but before we decorate!
