RNLI Thurso Lifeboat Station

It's the RNLI... Saving life's at sea...

This impressive lifeboat sits in Scrabster Harbour. It has been given a name The Taylors" after a family left a legacy to the RNLI. There us also a little RNLI shop which is only open in the summer months. The shop is tiny just room for a couple of people but well worth supporting the work these brave volunteers do. You can park your car at Scrabster Harbour for free for up to two hours. I was here for about 45 mins which is plenty time to wander around. One thing remember it is a working harbour and some areas are out of bounds."

It's always good to know there is a RNLI nearby. This one looks well equipped with there biggest boat moored up outside it. They have a shop and also occasional do a pop up shop in town. This RNLI station is located in the harbour where Northline serves from. Thank you RNLI and your team of volunteers.
