DO NOT TRY TO BOOK AND PICK UP ON A SUNDAY EVEN IF THE WEB SITE SAYS THE BRANCH IS OPEN. They will let you go through the booking process and pay then send you an email saying that they will confirm within 8 hours. Phone call to main office confirmed branch shut on Sunday. My money might come back in the next 28 days if I'm lucky. Another example of big business not really caring about its customers.

Never have anything automatic available. Referred to Europcar as a Motability customer. have been offered NOTHING in the past only requirement was automatic. I'd be happy with EV, petrol diesel whatever.Staff always polite enough but I dread needing a hire car every time.This time only car available is ridiculously small but what choice have I got so no mobility equipment fits in the car

Just another crooked vehicle hire company (in my opinion) either that or conveniently neglegent.I hired a van to pick up from Norwich and drop off to Preston, absolutely fine and the chap at the counter was really helpful and did a great job. After collecting keys I went to pick up the van, it was pretty hammered. I work in producing condition reports and knew to take plenty of photos before even stepping foot inside the vehicle, so I did just that.The trip went well, and although the van was clearly a bit rough round the edges it did a good job, we then finally dropped the van off in Preston, taking plenty of photos after locking it up and posting the keys back through the door.The following morning, at about 7am I received an email stating I had damaged the vehicle. After calling the head office I found that they were going to withold another £704 until dispute was clear.Fortunately I took plenty of images and sent them all over immediately. This is a terribly poor service and just instilled the lack of trust already seeded by companies like this. Never again will I use this company.

My husband and I needed a van for this Sunday. We booked via the website and because it asked us for a time to collect we picked 1pm because of several things we couldn’t pick it up any sooner. Friday my husband got a call from the office to ask if there was a change he could collect the van by 12 as the office WANTED to close by then. My husband stated that he didn’t think he could get there any earlier but would let them know first thing this morning. My husband called this morning at 8am to say that unfortunately he just couldn’t get there until 1pm. The man on the phone was very rude and stated that it wasn’t good enough and that if my husband was 1 minute late past 1pm then he would close up and that we would be unable to get the van and that would be on us!! Disgusting customer service! Appalling. If we didn’t need a van so desperately for Sunday and if we hadn’t already paid I would have gone elsewhere. Simply not good enough. Shame on you.

Not the mini SUV booked but a good car replacement. Windscreen wipers were very worn and caused problems in the rain. A lot of cosmetic damage on pick up but the car in general was very clean. Staff on reception were polite. Would hire from you again. Thanks.

The pick-up was quick and efficient as was the drop off. The car was an upgrade from what I ordered and a very comfortable drive.

Hired a car from them last week. Atif was very helpful. And told me as long as we take pictures of all the damages and don't dd anymore, we won't be charged for damage. All the bad reviews made me worried, but I was impressed by the way they do business ( Norwich branch). Will come back again for sure.

Appalling service from Europcar. they couldn't tell me over the phone how much they'd charge me for not refilling the van we hired (even though I'd hardly used any petrol) until after I'd dropped the keys to a CLOSED office. This was the office at Norwich Airport! Closed at weekends! So instead I had to pay for parking just to get out again to get about £10 worth of petrol. All because they couldn't tell me how much their charges might be, if at all, disgusting.

I picked up a car for a weekend hire. The car had significant scratches and damage to the side of the vehicle and back bumper.There was no report of this damage when I signed the paperwork prior to viewing the vehicle.I took photos of the damage before driving out of euro car.I returned the car and the office was closed. 3 weeks later I was contacted saying there was an impending invoice coming to cover the damage. I sent through the photos of the damage and it took a significant amount of time for them to respond. I proceeded to cancel all my cards in fear they’d charge me.Later I was sent an apology and that they would cancel the insurance claim.This was unnecessary stress to put on a customer. Save yourself the trouble and just go with another company in Norwich as the team at Norwich are incompetent.
