Little People Nursery and Out-of-School Club

My daughter started little people in 2019 and throughout covid -19 they went over and above to help support us as front line workers but also my 3 year old daughter.From this amazing experience we did not hesitate to send our son who started in 2022. There are a lot of the same staff still there and remember my daughter from when she attended!The nursery is so welcoming and having been so supportive when my son has been unsure of leaving me. I know how much they care for my son and I can leave him to go to work reassured he is in the best hands. My son loves attending and has a great relationship with all the staff but in particular his key worker!you all do a fab job - keep up the good work!

I am always pleased with the care provided by Little People Nurseries (Alwoodley) , which my children attend during the school holidays!It is a warm, multicultural and friendly environment where staff make every effort to ensure that every child, especially the more sensitive ones, feels safe and loved. As a parent of a child with an anxiety disorder, I can wholeheartedly say that my daughter is not only having a great time, but also feeling at ease, which is a huge relief. The dedicated staff and management team regularly check that children are happy and comfortable. The Manager Kiren is lovely and always helpful person!!! I highly recommend this nursery to working parents who need a supportive and caring environment for their children.

Updated review - as we come into our third year at this nursery. We still couldn’t be happier. I have a child in the baby room (which is just beyond exceptional) and a pre school age in school room (which is so fun, nurturing and they work so hard to make sure the kids are ready for school). We also loved the middle room Tweenies (which was so creative and brilliant). The kids are both super happy to go in - they love it so we love it. I love the way the staff invest their own personal time to come up with such creative activities that far exceed any other nurseries I know of through friends. I also love the extras - the harvest festival collection, the fireworks night they put on in the garden early for the little ones, the Christmas concert, the different religious festivals they teach the kids about each month. Genuinely will be sad to move my eldest to school as this setting has been such a comfort to us.This is my review from a year ago…We could not be happier with this nursery. Dropping your almost new baby off anywhere is always daunting but I can confidently say our child (now in the second room) loves it. We have already booked baby 2 in. The kids are outside so much which is great. Each week is a different theme and I honestly don’t know how they come up with some of the activities they think of! It makes me feel like they should be in nursery every day rather than at home. Couldn’t rate this place more. Very happy

Great little activity club for children. Safe and reliable.

I cannot recommend Little People Alwoodley enough to parents looking for a place to send their little ones. I have 2 children attending the nursery (ages 1 & 3) and they absolutely love the nursery because of how welcome the staff have made them, the fun activities they do & the friends they have made. Every single member of staff is friendly, kind and caring, in particular Gabi & Seetal who have taken the utmost care of my kids. The nursery manager Kiren is fantastic; she is always willing to discuss any concerns with me & her level of communication is excellent. She also helps out with the children when necessary & my daughter absolutely adores her! Choosing a nursery can be daunting but little people Alwoodley are the best choice I could have made & I can confidently say you will not regret sending your children here.

My child has been attending Little People since the age of 10 months old. I've always been more than satisfied with the level of care received. Both staff and management have supported me with any anxieties I have had around leaving my baby in a. childcare setting. My child runs into nursery every day, doesn't look back and often speaks" about his friends and his key workers whilst at home. His development in terms of social skills and language have both come on very well. I find the nursery take a real interest in our family and ensuring both my child and we as parents are happy. I would have no hesitation recommending this setting to friends and family."

I would whole heartedly recommended Little People Alwoodley to everyone. We have been using Little People for over 7 years and now have 3 children who attend both the nursery and the Fun Club after school facility.The staff are the kindness, friendliness and hardworking group of people and it's such a reassurance to know my children are all in such great care when they are at Little People. Every staff member goes above and beyond and I trust them, their professional judgement and their knowledge securely. All three of my children adore spending time at Little People and have such amazing relationships with the staff. They each feel valuable and are treated with such a warm, caring and respectful manner by the staff who work with them.Little People are more than a Nursery to myself and my family, they have supported us all personally through some very difficult times and I am constantly grateful for the education, love and happiness they provide for my children.Thank you Little People!

Brilliant little nursery with great caring staff. My son has been going since he was 1 and is now nearly 4 and he loves it and thinks very highly of the nursery staff and sees them as his friends. My daughter has just started baby room and again she seems to love being there! We are very happy with our choice of nursery. Keep up the great work Kiren and team!
