I should have given the food five stars ..... And it's my own fault in a way that it's only 4 stars . A table of seven . Table was booked for 18.00 hrs , drinks ordered and were served with our by really friendly staff , and our orders were taken , 3 for Fish and Chips , 4 for the Sunday roast. 1 beef , 3 pork. And 15 minutes later the meals arrived . The fish & chips looked delicious and everyone agreed they were. The 4 roasts were well presented, although we all would have preferred a dish of veg rather than piled onto the plate. And I'm sorry to say that it wasn't very hot , although the plates had been warmed. The roast potatoes were a little bit soggy and cool . Overall it was tasty, it's just a shame it wasn't hot when served. We decided not to say anything at the time as it would have taken to long to get anything done about.Would I recommend, without a doubt. Would I return, definitely when next in the area.

Annual trip to Burnham on sea for the winter carnival.Decided to have a roast dinner. We were situated at a table with extremely poor lighting, so couldn't see our food that well. The starter was average. Our roast dinners were lukewarm, the gravy was cold.Plates were cold.Parsnips and Yorkshire puddings were burnt. We were so hungry that we ate as much as we could.By the time the waiting staff came to check to see if anything was OK with meals. It was too late and I didn't want it heated up in the microwave as she suggested.Ordered a single spirit and a bottle mixer. The whole bottle of mixer was poured, we weren't able to adjust the drink to our liking ourselves. It was such a disappointing visit. Not sure I'll return next year.

We called in for lunch whilst in the area. The food was AMAZING! Service was great and the restaurant area was so pretty and welcoming. Would definitely come back and recommend! Thank you

We love visiting this pub when we are on holiday as you can take the dog and it’s very relaxing. However the menu was poor, so little to choose from, there is no table service and it really lacked atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was average and the drinks were very expensive. May have to find a new venue next year, sorry !

Stayed two nights in a single room and had dinner one night. The dinner menu and food was great. The staff may have been under pressure, but seemed forgetful (but apologetic). The single room fronted the main road and was really hot at night. Opening the window (limited opening) meant that the traffic noise was loud in the room. A fan is provided and helped a little bit. I found the pillows lumpy which on top of the heat and noise meant I had a miserable nights sleep. Shower and bathroom were great. Other inclusions in the room (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, hair dryer, hanging space, some snacks to purchase etc) were good.

We thought we would have Sunday roast as it had good reviews but unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. It may have been due to us arriving in the early evening but not certain about this. The beef was tough and so was the roast potatoes. Having said that, we have eaten there a number of times and the food has been outstanding.

We booked a table for 12 (including 6 kids plus a dog) at the Dunstan House Inn for Sunday lunch. We were given a fairly private area inside which was lovely, the service was excellent - quick, efficient but relaxed, and the food was delicious. The roasts were enormous (even the kids portion). I had fish and chips and I think it was possibly the best (and biggest) piece of fish I've ever had in a pub fish and chips. We had a drink outside afterwards in the sunshine - plenty of outdoor tables with umbrellas as well. Will definitely be back - thank you.

The food is absolutely fine. It's the price that the problem£10.00 for 2 exceedingly small portions of chips is ridiculous. They were nice but not at that price.

Good food, dog friendly. Portions sufficient, not huge. Service a bit slow, though not at all busy, like the staff have taken their foot off the pedal. Excellent attention to detail finding out ingredients for allergies.Overall would definitely recommend and return.
