SVC repaired a lovely tiffany lamp of mine a couple of months ago. The service was excellent, swift, professional and good value. Well worth the travel to Marple. I would absolutely recommend SVC in Marple town centre.

Super Service on restoration of my light fitting. Great customer care from both of the owners, with a friendly and helpful service with a quality job undertaken. I have bought lots of fittings and lamps from SVC but recently I was delighted to hear that they also repair lights. Much better than just chucking away and replacing. My lampshade was a bit tricky to mend, and it was a bit of a labour of love to get it right, but I'm very grateful that now this shade matches all the others in our hall, stairs and landing. I'd had a bare bulb for about a year! Thank you, Simon. x

Excellent service. Had two lamps repaired for different reasons and delighted with both. One I wouldn't have been able to replace so was really concerned however SVC sorted this as good as new and the price is very reasonable.

Bought a number of light fittings from SVC. They have a huge range of bulbs, and have many catalogues from which they can source you just about any light fitting in a few days. All lights and bulbs are tested and guaranteed working. Also bought battery powered security lights that are handy for spots where there is no electric.The light fittings are of a much higher quality than you'd get from B&Q, Ikea and Wickes.

What a great find. We have had a lamp for 40 years and it recently broke . Looking around for a new one they were all quite flimsy and poor quality . This amazing shop fixed my lamp , such personal friendly service too .. Thankyou
