I’ve been using this nail salon for over 6+ years, they used to be owned by the loveliest couple, who were super talented but sold the shop and left around 18 months ago. Since then, the team who have taken over are great at doing acrylics and pedicures, but NOT very good at gel polish on natural hands. Before I had my son I was going monthly and the previous owners would do the most beautiful gel polish on my natural nails that would last 3+ weeks without chipping. Nowadays, I don’t have the time to go monthly, so getting my nails done is more of a treat. And unfortunately, every manicure I’ve had with the new owners has lasted a max of FOUR days or been poor quality. Whenever I ask for gel polish on my natural nails, they look at me as though I’m an idiot, and try to discourage me from getting it done. I don’t like acrylics and don’t want to pay £40+ for them! They’re so persistent, that even when they’ve agreed to do the gel polish, they still whip out the tips and glue and I have to pull my hand away and say NO i don’t want tips- this happens every time! Yesterday they suggested I do biab which I hadn’t done before, but they said the nails are super thin and have a very natural feel because I don’t have to use tips. But after I’d sat down, they were so pushy, and convinced me to have tips on all my fingers to help shape them. And of course, the nails feel exactly like acrylics - very thick!! Not natural at all. They do look lovely (hence the 3 stars) and if I liked having artificial nails I’d probably love them. But they aren’t what I asked for!! I think because I don’t go often anymore they don’t think I know what I’m talking about, but I’ve been having my nails done for over 12 years!! It’s so frustrating because this was my favourite nail shop and I would shout about Pure Nails to everyone I knew. I’m so sad to say I won’t be returning because they are only talented at doing acrylics but otherwise, they need a lot of improvement on natural nail work. (And before they try to argue that gel manicures only last a few days, I have pictures that show my manicures from the previous owners lasting weeks!) :(

Excellent service. Best set of nails ever.My pedicure looks amazing and the gel on my feet is perfect. I have never had a set THIS good. Perfect for my holiday.

I was very please with the professionalism and great service I received today. The nail tech was very thorough and attentive to details. One of the best gel manicures I've had in Bedford. Would definitely recommend. ❤️

Very bad experience. We have booked appointment at 10am, arrived on time and saw many walk in customers. However we said we have an appointment at 10am and the guy workings there said ok give us 10min. We waited for 30 min and then saw than other ladies without appointments were served first. We had no choice but to leave,no apology from anyone too.Will never come back.

The lady was nice and friendly. I was walk in and didn’t make any booking. Reasonable price. The nails looks great.

The whole experience was very disappointing. I might as well have done my nails myself. I will avoid this place like the plague!
