Otter Falls

Had a lovely week in the tree house. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom very good the shower was excellent, nice touch including a hair dryer and dressing gowns. Bottle milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Not forgetting the treat bag for our dog which she loved. Staff very friendly we will definitely be visiting Otter Falls again next year.

Just got back from a long weekend.Stayed in a 6 berth falls Lodge.Clean, spacious, well equipped and private.The resort is well organised with all that's needed for the sport field (tennis,football,volleyball,badminton).Pool was warm and often had it to ourselves. Changing rooms were clean.From reading past reviews and seeing it for myself I would say the current owner's are bringing this up to modern standards and expanding its potential,Our lodge had been modernised but bathroom and ensure still very dated and in need of replacing (this is not a negative just my observation)Staff that we met were friendly and helpful.We will 100% be back again and will recomend to others.

Lovely place fantastic location beautiful views. Our 4 month old pup was made very welcome. The tea coffee and milk and welcome pack for our dog was a lovely touch. Enjoyed so much have rebooked for the summer.

Stayed in a Signature lodge for 4 nights with the wife and dog at the beginning of July. Our second visit to Otter Falls and won't be our last, we love the place. Always clean and well equipped cabins/lodges and the staff are great. Good for fishing (no matter your experience), dog walks and generally relaxing away from it all and the hot tub helps. Extremely scenic part of the country. Nice pub down the road (Sidmouth Arms)

Had a fantastic long weekend here in the Farmhouse, lovely bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Good facilities, dog walking areas and trails, swimming pool (although bit cold for little ones), hot tub, kids park and the Bistro. Logs, fire lighters and matches available for a real fire. Kitchen lack of utensils as we had to ask for a tin opener and a spatula and an extra frying pan as we were too many for just one.Reception staff very friendly and welcoming, and very quickly sorted out any of our requests. A great winter getaway.

Excellent fishing great location fantastic dog walking really good chillout place. I would highly recommend if you need to get away to relax and unwind from daily stressful life. We will definitely be back next year. Staff are lovely. Local town Honiton 5 miles away lovely welcoming people.

Well equipped treehouse (cooking utensils, mini Dyson,hairdryer rain shower )etc two hob counter with combi oven grill micrwave.i have had no problems cooking here and if your not here to cook the Sidmouth Arms is a mile away with excellent food and drinks worth a visit.if your coming for the fishing I have seen some nice fish landed and your partner can come with you and go to the pool or bar etc.very enjoyable.

Check in :Very swift and friendly, I was shown to my cottage, showed how the hot tub works etc.The site :Lovely, great amenities but also done in a subtle way.The cottage :Well appointed, comfortable, lovely bed, big shower, hot tub was amazing. Nice and clean although a bit of TLC needed - especially in the bathroom.The Bistro :When I checked in it was suggested to me to book in at the bistro as it “gets very busy”!When I arrived there later in the week there was one other table dining, a group of staff on the sofa having a drink and what appeared to be a teenage girl doing her homework!! Not busy with diners!!The atmosphere was strange, not a cosy “bistro” at all.Service and food arrival was fast - too fast! I’d have liked to relax a little.After finishing I was asked if I wanted to look at the dessert menu, when I declined I was told to pay at the bar when I was ready. No offer of another drink, etc.Whilst I don’t like to make personal comments, as the waiter was very attentive, his body odour was really off putting.Food was OK and reasonably priced but I’d suggest the local pub as an alternative.

Midweek break where we all found the accomodation very nice. Bistro /bar very good.As a fisherman i caught plenty of roach in the lakes but did not see any fish in the river. Overall i felt that the lakes and especially the river could do with tlc.Good chance we will go back.
