Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire

There might as well not be an embassy, the people I have dealt with have not helped me in my needs for documents, and now ignore my calls and emails. It’s cheaper and more effective to just call a friend in Côte d’Ivoire and get your stuff sorted over there directly. What a joke.

I mean the phone issue.The never answer the phone. You can spend all day trying to get someone. I have made a passport application for my daughter. Its been a week and I still have not received the documents. I have been trying speak to someone it has been impossible. I have sent numerous email and still nothing.Please do something with the phone line.

They need to trainne some of the staff,some of them are really professional,how came a embassy cant have network WE have to go a walk for 10 to 15 for a printing more work need to be done

Tried to renew my passport for about 6 months now still nothing. Staff are rude and unprofessional, phone calls are never answered, including emails, with a very poor website as it fails to give any clear directions. Overall very disappointing.

I had e-visa issues and contacted the Embassy in desperation. I have to say, they were extremely helpful and the visa issue was sorted. A huge thank you to Diby in the visa department.

To be honest I feel like 1 star rating is like giving them 5 stars. They deserve no stars at all. Any other country who have an embassy in the UK are miles ahead and much more helpful and professional than this embassy. Since November 2021, they have moved to a different location, they haven't bothered to update the website. Very poor website even my little sister can make a better website than that and she doesn't even like IT. They are rude like they are being forced to work there. Don't get me started on the phone, the ghost phone, like they either don't hear it or it rings in silence. When your passport has expired and they take the money for a renewal and appointment but you get there and they say they can't do it. They don't realise that people depends on their passport to travel and work and people are just waiting for this to be done to start work and they still can't do it. How can an embassy since November 2021 not be able to renew its citizens passport. This whole embassy needs to be changed, the system they adopt to work there needs to change, they need to either change their attitude or be sacked and people who will cherish this positions needs to be hired. An absolute joke of an embassy!!
