First Stop Wolverhampton

Absolutley fantastic service, my car has been to several garges to try to find out what a banging noise was at the rear, it went into this garage for a flat tyre and they noticed the noise whilst driving it, they managed to order a part and its now sorted, will not be taking my car anywhere else, friendly, knowledgable and competitve prices.

Have used this garage previously for servicing etc and found them to be normally good. But checked my car in with a loud grating noise, which I had no idea of what was causing it. The mechanic replaced the front wheel bearings, as soon as I got it back it made exactly the same noise but I thought it was maybe wearing in (the new part). After a couple of weeks with constant noise I took it back, the manager drove it and said it was the brakes making the noise and that they could do for another £250 (I'd already paid £220 for the bearings). I wasn't too pleased and took to another mechanic who confirmed the brakes were making the noise, it was metal on metal and something was catching , hence the noise. So not only did Wolverhampton First Stop do unnecessary work they let me drive around with dangerous brakes and won't refund for the original work . The manager has tried to imply there were two noises when there really wasn't. Sorry less than impressed on this occasion. I didn't ask for a full inspection I asked them to find and treat the source of the noise, which they didn't, and tried to charge me twice for the same fault.

Attended First Stop on 21st September due to a punctured tyre and needed some one to look over my other tyres due to legal wear requirements. I couldn't have gone to anywhere better the staff in all departments were so friendly, pleasant and professional they have a lovely area to sit watch TV and have a drink of your choice from a machine (donation box to Compton) relax in the warm while the job is being done I will be recommending to all my family and friends thank you all for your service given

I had all four tyres replaced with DX390's at the beginning of the year. During replacement the technician smeared glue all over the freshly refurbished alloys and a valve has failed on the offside rear tyre.

Walked in Saturday morning, very welcoming and friendly. Simon the manager straight away discussed the issues with my car and advised the work required could be done. Josh was also great, sorted the tracking on my car, replaced a light bulb and even filled my tyres with air. Very organised business and certainly put the customer first. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using again. Cheers guys !

I used to use this service before when it was called differently, since it was rebranded, I was only once and I don't go there anymore. An arrogant teenager greeted me and told me that if I think it's easy to do what I need on my car to do the work myself. this while I was trying to explain to him what my situation is and what my problem is. I asked a few questions about the problem my car has and I clearly understood that the people there are taken off the street and put to work in this location, people without training in mechanics. I do not recommend this service.

We’ve been using this garage for over 15 years. We are in Dudley so it’s not a local garage for us, but we use them because we trust them. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ve never had a problem with any job that they’ve completed. Had a recent problem trying to get hold of a car part for my Fiat and my car ended up stuck there for 6 weeks while waiting on Fiat. Simon, the manager spent a lot of time trying to get this part (none in the country). Part arrived and another great job completed!

They did my car work worth of 850 pounds . Before giving my car to them for repair, my car heating was working and after repair done by them , my car heating wasn’t working n also there is sound in brakes , they changed the brakes pad still there is sound .when we called them n explained them all the problem and ask them for early appointment they said they don’t have appointment available this week . I am not satisfied with the service. Not recommended to anyone
