Royal Mail Hythe Delivery Office

sent a batch of parcels over 2 weeks ago tracked 24 service which apparently RM say will be prioritised during strike action. Tracking shows they haven't moved from hythe sorting office. both customers have now cancelled orders. thanks RM not even worth one star rating

I can confirm alot of posts to be true. Firstly the attempted delivery is more of a knock and run and then the opening times are for 2 hours a day.No point in getting the parcel redelivered as it will make no difference. Amazingly I'd rather us Yodel or Everi as the local delivery drivers are very accommodating.

Appalling hours of Service at this Delivery Office. Had a pre-paid Royal Mail tracked parcel to post. Walked from Saltwood to Hythe only to find the Office closes at 10am for the rest of the day. The Hythe Post Office refused to take the tracked parcel suggesting I try Folkestone Sorting Office.

It's a Delivery Office (not a Post Office as other reviewers have assumed). Closes at 13:00 so best to visit in the morning. No onsite parking. Usually a 5 minute walk from nearest parking space.

My postman dan is the best postie in the uk . Nothing too too much for him. 5 star service

No postman delivers around harrier green in past month, lots and lots of letters being lost

Useless collection times hard to collect your parcel if you work I don’t get why they have limited there opening times. Can’t blame COVID for everything

A parcel was delivered to my mother this week. The driver asked if she had a gas leak but mum couldn't smell anything. He asked to come in and noticed strong smell near her cooker and told her to contact the gas board immediately.Which she did. He then returned 2 days later when he was passing by to check she was ok. This man possibly saved her life as mum though her feeling tired and a bit dizzy was just old age not a major gas leak. Thank you so much for alerting her to the danger she was in. 5 star service although the website only let me give 3!

I live at Drapers Copse in Dibden and we have only had a postman delivering one day a week for months now. This is totally unacceptable and we haven't received any notification or explanation as to why this is the case. Royal mail are being payed for a service that they are not providing. Disgusting and total lack of customer service. Won't be using them for parcel deliveries in the future.

Have had the misfortune of parcels supposedly sent using this bunch of lazy backward unhelpful excuse for a delivery company, the driver does not knock your door, actually seen him just post the note through door saying you were our pick up from office! You travel to station that has no parking, park half mile away, are met with sullen unhelpful staff, begrudgingly they give you your parcel that looks as it has descended everest the quick way. I ask all use another company. New complaint trying to pay duty (duty £2.99 + handling charge £8 on an item worth £17.99) the Web page will not work just says oops yes oops very professional that oops, try to call but over 90minutes waiting on line - no call back service, no address on card as to where my parcel can be picked up, this company should not be allowed to do business.
