Visited as a DIY customer in a car for some aggregate material to create a base for a patio extension. Wasn't particularly sure what I needed or how it worked, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. Much cheaper than buying from a shop.The process is as follows for self-loading; pull onto weighbridge, go into cabin and say what you're there to pick up, put on a hard hat and high vis (as it is a live site with construction vehicles driving around), drive to the pile of aggregate you want, load up (don't forget a shovel), pull back onto weight bridge and you pay for the difference in weight.
