Excellent and friendly shop with excellent selection of CDs and Vinyl.I personally found hard to get CDs at reasonable prices.Definetly will be back for visit in the future.

It's a nice quick stop if walking into town. A light lunch next to the wall. If traffic is busy the outside is next to the road so can be busy but if u just want to have a half hour breather with a drink this is a nice stop off. I haven't actually simples everything they offer but coffee and cake was nice.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area, a lovely record shop with a variety of CDs and vinyl. Extensive jazz offering. Owner very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Visited while in York. Have to pay to look around this house, we didn't bother and just took a wall around the gardens.

Great little shop. Some gems in the vinyl section and priced correctly for the serious collector. The owner knows his stuff and I could have spent hours talking to him. I promise I'll be back next time we're in York!

Always an absorbing hour browsing here. A wonderfully curated collection of used CDS and vinyl . Helpful staff. Great sections in particular on jazz , psych/ pop . A York institution.

Great little record shop. The chap in HMV recommended this shop to me. A great find. Really friendly and helpful staff, particularly David, who managed to order in two cds for me. Prompt, efficient service with rapid email replies. A happy bunny. Shall revisit and would recommend.

David is such a nice guy who went above and beyond to get me a Eek a Mouse record I had been on a hunt for. Great shop with an amazing selection. Couldn't recommend enough.

It's a cool shop but the staff showed little too zero interest in engaging with the questions I asked about the genres of music available for purchase.

He seemed really nice and had a good collection. I wish there was more to choose from but the selection was great and it's sparked me to want to start my own vinyl collection. The store had a good style, reminded me of a store Stanley Kubrick would build.
