A few unethical receptionists control the surgery, frequently misleading patients without conscience. There are three good doctors but a few receptionists playing God prevent access. Despite serious breaches in ethical & behavioural standards, toxic members of staff remain able to control surgery. Duty of care appears an abstract concept, patients are suffering due to rouge staff and weak practice management.

Leaving this practice was like being born a new. Most of the staff are great, as are the doctors. However, One or two very unpleasant reception staff appear to be infallible & the practice manager seems oblivious to how their complete disrespect & toxic energy effects the entire surgery. The best receptionist is Polish, she is lovely. For her sake I hope she leaves this place as it's a horrible environment for nice people. There were warning signs. In my first doctors appointment a staff member walked into the doctors room without knocking nor excusing herself. Confidentiality not respected, nor basic right to privacy.

The worse gp practice in Belfast. Girls behind desk extremely rude and ignorant. I'm glad i left.

After an extremely bad experience with a previous surgery this surgery has been wonderful. They go out of their way to help, have turned around a script I was late to offer and have shown me nothing but compassion and kindness in relation to my mental health problems. Receptionists are warm and helpful and don't seem to abuse the power of their position. I can't thank them enough for reducing the anxiety of contacting a doctor that my previous surgery instilled in me.

Receptionist’s are great help mostly, the doctors? Never see the same one twice and most of them are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike

A family emergency has called me out of Belfast to Edinburgh meaning I have not collected my repeat prescription from the pharmacy which I usually get a text regarding. I have been without my medication for two days and counting. When I contacted the medical centre yesterday I was advised to phone back the following morning by 11am. As the issue that has called me out of Belfast is pressing I only got to make the call at 11:13. Julie, the receptionist who answered my call informed me that I wouldn't be able to speak to the doctor. When I advised her that the medication I am without is my antidepressants she proceeded to focus on why this was my fault and not anything useful like how to resolve the issue. Her only piece of advice was that I register with a doctor here. I am unsure how I can manage to register with a doctor and get an emergency script inside a day when I can't even get one from my current gp surgery in two days. It would appear that Julie has mistook a position of responsibility for a position of power and has let that perception of power go to her head. I am now left to go through withdrawal because of someone who is, essentially, a notepad with a bad attitude.

Absoulte shambles of a surgery. Between medication mismanagement and extremely impolite receptionists, service is appalling. Leaving a man with dementia without vital medication as they have either ordered the wrong item or haven't sent it to the nominated pharmacy, which they insist on you agreeing to, is disgraceful . Leaving a woman with heart failure without medication is equally disgraceful. I have been a patient of this surgery since I was a child and have never experienced such awful service as I have over the past year. As a medical receptionist myself I understand the pressure they are under but I struggle to defend the staff at this surgery.
