Staff in there are lovely, BUT gave my 7 month old daughter wrong diagnosis. I said she had conjunctivitis and got ignored by nurse. she said she had viral infection (yesterday), today we had to go a&e as she has conjunctivitis and bronchitis! We got antibiotics for her eyes. Numbing spray and anti sickness medication. Even doctors thought it was disgusting and shocked at how wrong her diagnosis was, she was on oxygen too. The nurse said her chest sounded fine but doctor could hear fluid. it’s disgusting! I’m glad I trusted my gut and got a second opinion. I really do think nurses in there are rushing appointments which isn’t fair especially with babies.

Just back from the quickest time spent in a walk in centre ever. The staff were amazing the triage nurse in particular who helped me when my little boy vomited as soon as we arrived. In and out in 20-30 mins and everyone was fantastic. Thank you to everyone in today :)

Came here with a 11 month old baby with high fever. Waiting for 3 hours to be seen by a NURSE who at the end was asking me what I think my baby has !!!! Reception (apart from a man there) is awful. A woman there told us that we have high priority because of the age of baby and the fever and that if we leave , baby will end up in hospital ! While we were waiting, she took his oxygen levels with an instrument that was stating “system failure” on screen , I told her and she just took it and left ! Absolutely disgusting service from both reception and nurses. Never there again.

Wow what a brilliant service that Mersey care offer at the Smithdown walk in centre. We were greeted by two lovely friendly receptionist and then triaged by a lovely nurse who was very knowledgable and made me feel at ease regarding my little ones illness. Waited 5 mins top to be seen. Very professional and organised system in place here. Would use again if needed. Thank you

We brought our son in on sunday 4th of December as he had developed spots around his body. The centre was absolutely rammed and was not faciltated to cater to families without access to the gp on the weekend. We had to wait in the car park for 5 hours or even more and in that time my child had vomited all over me and been cold as he can't be around the other kids in the centre.Only positive I can give is the reception staff being nice.It all just seemed unethical. Never want to come here again once we're done.*just a little update to say my child had managed to shake off a chesty cough before we came the walk in centre and now it's back after he had to wait in the car for 5 hours.

2 visits within 4 days my son clearly had tonsilitis they wouldnt prescribe him with anti biotics, he ended up very poorly and in a lot of pain. I took him the GP the next morning and immediately our GP confirmed he had infected tonsils and needed penicilin and pain relief. Walkin while staff are nice completely useless, waste of time and delayed my son getting the treatment he needed!Update my son ended up getting his tonsils out a few months later and has never had a problem with his throat since!

The waiting time is so long, but not because they're very busy with patience, but busy talking!

Great place, well organised and lovely staff. Went late on a Saturday afternoon. Triage was almost immediate and we were seen by a nurse practitioner within about half an hour. Team is a credit to the NHS.
