Magiscroft Coarse Fishery

Excellent fishery in picturesque surroundings with onsite tackle shop and cafe which is open weekends .Me and dad fished top pond which are the photo.But has other ponds and a main lake

First time course fishing so first time here. The place is well run and the staff were very helpful with good advice. Good selection of fishing gear with good prices. Can't wait to return.

I've now been to Magiscroft 5 times and I have not been disappointed once. I took my son for his first ever fishing trip onto the Island Pond, he had 48 fish in 5 hours. Now he's hooked. For that alone this is on hell of a fishery.

It's a great wee FISHERY it's our FIRST time trying it 11th June 2021. My wee mate Rab CAUGHT a nice wee COMMON carp on a weighted worm and barbless hook safely Returned.

Brilliant for all ages caught some really nice fish off this water. Holds some decent Carp both mirror and common the odd ghost but good luck finding them PB here is 15.09 lb

Brilliant place! Well stocked ponds and very well looked after by the owners. Friendly staff, loads of facilities including bait shop, cafe, toilets and much more. Best coarse fishing in this part of Scotland for less than a tenner a day. Kid friendly too so I can take my nephew and share a peg no problem. Several ponds to choose from and have never beendisappointed - very highly recommend!!!

Great Fishery. The people are super friendly and helpful. Spoiled for choice, half a dozen different ponds, nicely maintained. Fish are really nice fish, good sized fish. Caught a few good sized carp and my friend has had a 10lb and that's not the main pond where the fish are bigger. They say its the Premier course Fishery in Scotland and they're probably not wrong. Easy to get to, mostly main roads until you have about a quarter mile of single track tarmac road to the Fishery. Plenty parking, plenty pegs. On site cafe also, so you won't go hungry, cheap and cheerful stuff but can't be beaten, always a cold drink or a hot cuppa.

Well kept, friendly staff. Always willing g to give hints and tips on the the lakes are fishing. Tackle shop reasonably priced too
