My boyfriend and I eat at least 1 time every two weeks here. As an Ethiopian I can say that this place is very authentic and is truly a delicious restaurant. They are very consistent when it comes to their food, everything is always very fresh!! Their awaze tibs, kikil and misir are the best you will find in London!!100% recommend for anyone wanting to try.

JOJO’s kitchen is the restaurant to go, taste and enjoy Ethiopian cuisine in London. If you haven’t tried Ethiopian food yet, head to this restaurant and you will definitely enjoy a delicious meal. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They suggested us which dish to try. We went for Jojo’s special and it was delicious. They serve it in a big plate to share, with beer. Bear in mind it is eaten with the hands…so wash your hands and enjoy! A hidden gem that we will try again!

Such great food, really friendly relaxed service. First time trying Ethiopian food & will definitely be back. So filling and all the different stews had so much flavour.PLEASE try the honey wine! It comes in this traditional bottle and it’s the most delicious drink I’ve ever had. So good

Everything about this restaurant was genuinely fantastic, one of the best I've been to.Food: We went with a vegetarian so only had those dishes and there was more than enough choice. Every dish in the vegetarian mixed platter complimented each other and was really flavourful. We also had a lovely chickpea dish (Tagabino) which was beautifully presented and a stand-out. Portion sizes were excellent all round.Drinks: Great Ethiopian beer which is very reasonably priced. We finished the meal with a coffee ceremony which included incense, having it roasted in front of us and served with popcorn (which worked very well).Excellent service and authentic décor - we stayed nearly 3 hours and would highly recommend, a real hidden gem!

The food here is excellent. Have been to many Ethiopian restaurants across London and this one has become our favourite. The Awaze tibs is one of the best I have ever tried. The people running the restaurant are also very welcoming and lovely.Even the decoration is gorgeous.Absolute gem of an Ethiopian restaurant in terms of food, service and atmosphere.

Ethiopian food is such a great sharing experience. I wouldn’t say I was wowed by the food, but I enjoyed the variety of dishes we had on the platter. The fermented bread roll was interesting. On it’s own it doesn’t work but with the food it does. However it would have been nice to have some plain rolls as the lemon from the fermented bread can be too much after awhile.I would like to come back and sample other dishes on the menu. Overall it was a good experience.

The service was lovely and the menu had a wide range of meats. I didn't particularly like the injera (sour fermented pancake like flatbread) as it was too sour and caused me stomach issues.

Delicious vegan dishes consisting of dhal, lentils, tomato salad, spinach , potato and cabbage all served on injera bread. So so so good... We also had delicious vegan samosa and Ethiopian tea which was divine. Staff are so kind, and welcoming I would definitely go back. Very reasonably priced and extensive vegan menu.

Lived locally for a while and wanted to try Jojo's. The food and service didn't disappoint in the slightest. And the restaurant decor is really lovely too. Will definitely be back
