Always loved a takeaway from Yummy’s, we all like the food and variety of dishes offered.However the new location of the shop is a nightmare - parking and access is terrible on Botchergate, plus worse still it’s venturing into the heart of Carlisle clubland - which personally I never find a very pleasant experience! Delivery isn’t an option for us either due to our location.It’s sad to say I won’t be back, but I do wish the shop well in their new premises.

The food is amazing! Salt and Chilli pepper chips are immense! Chow mein is big enough for 2 people, soups are great and curry is lovely. Delivery is often a while during busy periods but the foods always hot when it arrives and I dont mind waiting for good food - they are busy for a reason. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Lovely foodUPDATE......What has happened to Yummys? Salt and chilli chicken..... with more onions and peppers than chicken. Dark chips, fried rice which wasn't really fried. And the worst prawn crackers I've ever tasted. Much better Chinese takeaways

Food was piping hot delivery was poor 20 minutes late ,driver didn't seem to care not impressed with attitude rather go and pick food up

We had Lemon chicken and Sweet and sour chicken both with fried rice. The portion amount for both was fair as was the price of £15 for both meals. Both chicken meals were tasty however the rice was a bit clumpy but was ok. Staff were pleasant and have a good Covid system in place for ordering and collection. I'd happily visit again when in the area. A good location especially if staying at the Central Travelodge like us.

The dish was hot in some places and cold in others. Chicken was stone cold.Chips were rock solid in the middle.I do not like giving 1 star to local buisness but a very poor experience.

Ordered Singapore chow Mein, and they just sent plain noodles with a few peppers. Chips were practically hollow. Avoid.

Very disappointed this evening, whilst we have ordered food from here before and its been fine, our order took 2 and a half hours to arrive tonight which is ridiculous , and when it finally did arrive, we were both already in bed! The food had clearly been quickly reheated and sent out, it was congealed and stale. Honestly if I'd have known it was going to take this long, i wouldn't have even bothered! No apology, no discount. The fact it was hot and has been ok in the past, is the only reason i can give it 2 stars rather than 1. Sadly i don't expect we'll ever order from here again, which is a shame...
