I like pubs and enjoyed this one too. Some good characters in there and I like to chat. The beer is well kept and that is important..to be honest.

The pub is constantly changing hands so it never really finds it's feet with regards to entertainment and people through the door. It's always the same gaggle of people inside which isn't a bad thing per say as everyone is friendly enough it can just be very quiet at times, unless there's an event on or the weather's nice there's not much of an atmosphere, plenty of parking, outdoor seating, pool, darts and jukebox

Great pub first time in with my two friends and it was brilliant the landlady was an absolute star we was supposed to go to a local festival but they closed the doors at 630, so ended up at the rock tavern, cheap booze, my friend ended up winning the bonus ball and we stayed till late, definitely will be coming again, landlady gave us 2 free games of pool and even had got the regulars on the juke box, will definitely come back every Saturday,

My mates I showed up here after a random situation, rather happy we did, lovely experience, people in there were great and the bar staff were delightful and accommodating. From the 5 boys in tux thank you all x

Under new management. New landlord and landlady are lovely people, they have decorated and it looks so much better. It's my local and I will be enjoying a pint there

Great atmosphere, very well kept beer, friendly staff and although I was only visiting the area it felt as comfortable as my own local
