I came here to buy my first ever car. I'm only young and I don't know much about cars but put my trust in the people at Driveaway Motors to sell me a good car. Unfortunately this has not been the case. I had the car for just over 2 months and had to get a whole new gear box and clutch. The mechanic said that anyone who knows anything about cars would have known there was something wrong with it by the noise it was making when I first bought it (me not knowing anything about cars just thought this noise was normal). A month later I paid a further £150 for repairs on my car and then last week had to spend over £200 on new wheels that were from 2011 when my car is a 13 plate(I'm not sure if they were aware of this issue). Overall since buying the car 4 months ago I have spent over £1,000 on repairs. Given that I had saved up for years for my first car I am absolutely gutted after having to loan money off family just to keep my car on the road and I'm disappointed that every mechanic I have spoken to has said how shocked they were that I was allowed to pay and drive away in a car that clearly had many issues and was very dangerous.

Went and picked up a lovely little car for my wife to learn in. Went in on the Sunday and test drove. No pushy sales, left to browse the car on our own once it was opened and also offered a test drive. Great condition car and excellent Value. All said and done very happy with our car and the service given. Would recommend driveaway to anyone!

Although I didn't end up buying the car I saw, the gentleman taking care of me was very friendly and honest. No pushy, annoying salesman. Left to browse and test drive the car I bought. Had a little glitch with it but this was immediately sorted with no quibble. Highly recommended and refreshing company

Highly recommended. My family have had 3 cars from Steve now and we would definately buy from him again. A trustworthy, helpful and reliable man. All the cars have been nice looking cars and good performers. We've been very happy with what we have purchased.

Really refreshing to go to buy a car and get treated like a normal person. Steve was brilliant and really accommodating to what I was there to see. Couldn’t have done enough for me. As a woman buying a car it can be quite intimidating so my guard was up. That soon changed and I felt really comfortable and happy buying a car! Will definitely be going back for my next one and recommending anyone I know.

Great experience buying here …Matthew was great, genuine passion for selling the best cars, honest and pro active with calling me and providing updates especially when I had an inspection undertaken which was mainly due to a Bad experience with someone else and I live 200 miles away. All in all it was worth the 200 mile trip to collect the car for my daughter. Many thanks Mathew great experience and would recommend you to everyone.
