I used to come quite a lot to this restaurant and we have noticed the serviced changed. I wanted a close to home birthday dinner and knew that the food was quite good here and did not disappoint. The evening started with a negative welcome at the reception where my partner was made very uncomfortable by the hostesses. They've asked him to take off his hat and when he resisted at first, they've laughed it off and said he was beautiful without it... way to go making someone feel uncomfortable. After that another hostess took us to our table making us bump into other diners as they were trying to move around seats. The rest of the service was great although we had to wait a long time for the bill that eventually we got up and said we will pay at the till or we have to leave because although it was 10pm on Friday, for banking it's not the end of the working day. The food was very delicious and I have to say it has improved although some of the items I've used to order have now disappeared from the menu. Our favourite are always the guacamole sauce, which we would order 10 of the dish and the beef tataki although there's no taste of the truffle. All in all we have ordered : guacamole with corn crisps, beef tataki, tuna tostadas, salmon taco shells, tuna tataki and chicken skewers. At the end my bf ordered dessert and they made his platter a happy birthday platter for me which he was very happy to finish! Very nice touch and throughly appreciated. I definitely recommend people to dine here for an exquisite taste of Peru.

I think the place is fantastic, unique. Very nicely decorated and pleasant. The treatment of the waiter who served us was not adequate. As soon as we entered the waiter wanted to sell us the tasting menu. We told him we wanted to see the menu and he got angry. In the end we thought we would order a starter, an anticucho, a main course and another vegetable dish. It was all to share for 2. The quantities were tiny, not even for one person, a lot of decoration and a lot of presentation, but they were not dishes to satisfy our hunger. Everything was delicious and the desserts were spectacular. What annoyed us were the abusive prices and that on top of that they wanted to charge you almost £24 in service charge, because nobody can force you to leave a tip, and then two more charges for an ONG. I find it unfortunate that they force people to leave these kind of optional charges when they are the ones making the donations on your behalf. When we asked them to remove these additional charges the manager was very upset and came quickly to get us to pay and leave. Excessive prices and on top of that we were treated rudely. Not a place to recommend even to your worst enemy. It was almost £180 and you can appreciate the quantity of the dishes.

Absolutely loved the food here, I’ve been told it’s better than Mayfair. The yellow fin tuna and prawn was beautiful. If you like seafood this is a good place to go and also the chicken is halal! Crab tacos we’re definitely my favorite. Drinks were also good and mocktails were tasty, not too sweet and different to in taste. Manager and staff were great and kindly arrange a wonderful display of desert for us which was stunning both in site and taste.

Great taste, EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for the EXTREMELY SMALL quantities.Way Beyond Michelin star pricing for a restaurant that’s definitely not at those levels. Very loud too.15% service charge? And another “eco friendly service charge”?Service was too pushy trying too hard to continue selling us stuff - had to repeatedly say no to more cocktails, repeatedly no to more food

I had very high expectations for this place, and it started off really well. However, after the first dish, my excitement began to fade rapidly. In the beginning, we were offered drinks. I decided to try a classic Pisco sour, and I must admit, the cocktail was excellent. The waiter suggested starting with guacamole and corn tortillas, which I thought was a good idea, considering I was planning to go for a menu option that included three starters and one main dish. The guacamole was lovely but a bit too salty. The three starters included a corn salad, a spinach, walnut, and goji salad, and portobello mushrooms on skewers. The corn salad (Trio de Maiz) was delicious but quite large for a starter. The spinach salad (Espinacas con Manchego) was tasty but had too much dressing, making it overpowering. The portobello mushrooms were not particularly interesting. When we ordered the main dish, the waiter suggested a side dish, and I chose the Miso aubergine. We waited for the main dish for about 25-30 minutes, and when it arrived, I was left surprised. It was smaller than the side dish and didn't even qualify as an afterthought. The main dish (Trigo en Wok) consisted of spelt, squash, cauliflower, and fresh truffle, but it was essentially a spelt side dish with very little flavour. My partner ordered the salmon, which he found bland as well.In general, I found the food to be one-dimensional, making it forgettable. Additionally, I felt that the service lacked finesse. I don't appreciate when the waiter addresses me with Do you want?" instead of "Would you like?" It's just not good etiquette. Also

This is a restaurant I have been to a few times now, I have always been impressed. The food is always excellent. The Peruvian cuisine provides a variety of great dishes. The selection of small plates makes this restaurant perfect for groups. Will continue to come back in the future

Good vibes, and food good but not excellent! We had a lovely meal here and whilst the food was tasty, we felt it wasn’t value of money. We’ve been to similar places before and the food was outstanding and worth the money, at COYA the food was good it wasn’t outstanding! Vibes was really amazing though and it wouldn’t put me off!! So 4 out of 5 for me!!
