Beautifully spotless rooms. Comfortable beds. We recieved a warm welcome. We couldn't have found a better location for a gig at Hackney Church and it was just a short walk from the overground station.

Lovely old pub with great service. We came here before and after a concert at Hackney Church. The prices are great and the lady behind the bar was super nice to chat to. It felt like a very welcoming, non-pretentious place. If we're ever around the area we'll definitely be back. I can't comment on the rooms as we only went to the pub.

What a great find. Spotless clean rooms. Simple but with everything you need. Comfy beds. Incredibly friendly staff.The pub is as the sign says by the front door a proper pub. It has a lot of character and was very busy the night we were there (over coronation weekend). The locals, other guests, and in particular the staff and land lady were very friendly and we had an extremely enjoyable evening.Can't say enough good things. And just a big thank you to Serena and all her staff.

Excellent room with balcony, clean & tidy. Staff are super friendly. The pub was very welcoming, very friendly locals made us feel like we'd been visiting for years. Will definitely stay again.

Went for Wednesday night karaoke and it was rather busy even from about 6pm. Seating was mostly low stools which I found uncomfortable and tricky to get up from. Karaoke set up in front of ladies' loos so can be a bit off-putting having to get past singers to go to the loo and trying to sing with people going in and out of loo behind you. Usual drinks prices for the area. Everything on one level but not really wheelchair friendly due to angle of entrance door (which is solid so people inside wouldn't see if you needed help) and limited room inside.Monday and Wednesday karaoke really good fun and lots of good singers. Friendly crowd. Now become my regular for Monday karaoke due to the friendliness and atmosphere. Staff and regulars are brilliant.Did not use guesthouse so this review is pub only.

This is a genuine find! Travelling all the way from Australia, this was my first stop and the staff truely made me feel at home. I felt safe and welcomed by everyone and for the location and price the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Even when busy, the bar staff and the owner made sure all my requests were accommodated to the best of their ability. Will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town.
