All excellent. Been here many times. Nice pint. Food is standard pub food but slightly higher quality.

A group of us had a lunchtime Christmas meal. The food was very good and the atmosphere was fine. We were served by Lucy who was friendly and did a great job.

Excellent meal had on a Friday night. Not too busy but a good atmosphere. And the food was delicious. Would definitely eat here again. We had arancini and sticky chicken to start. Schnitzel and pie for main. Great service from Daphne and Lucy :)

Great place, went for dinner here yesterday and I'm still thinking about the food. The service was Amazing and the atmosphere and decor was a nice cosy vibe. The staff were very attentive, will definitely be going back! Highly recommend the duo of lamb

Lovely food and good service. (I can recommend the pork belly), We arrived early at 12.30 for Sunday lunch. The only minor downside was that we were seated in an alcove where there were already a number of other people, the main part of the pub area was vacant. Parking was conveniently situated at the side of the pub.

We have not visited this establishment for a number of years as we live away . As we had been given gift voucher we decided to visit old haunts. The booking was easy, the welcome warm, the layout comfortable, the service good and the food excellent. We left after an enjoyable evening.

Came here for our Sunday lunch tour of Leicestershire lol snd this time there were 8 of us. Lovely looking venue and really nice inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive.Food was very nice and tasty and the only faults I would say is that the cauliflower cheese didn't come out with much sauce on, We had 3 so wasn't just the one and the burger meal could do with something else on the plate like a side salad to bulk it out.Not the cheapest of places and we didn't know about the compulsory £4.50 per head service charge they add for groups of 8 or more which came to an extra £36 total to the bill. There is parking but can be a tight fit if there are many cars already parked up.We will be back here again though as did enjoy it.

Lovely decor and some log fires to create a cosy atmosphere. Don't sit by the kitchen door though!Drinks were ordered and served promptly. It took ages to order our food our drinks were almost finishedThe vegetarian options were very limited. The vegan burgers are incredibly overpriced !The beef casserole was rather mushy with too much gravy swamping the rest of the food. I had to ask for my missing cheddar crusted scone. When it arrived it was a small flat piece of pastry! My husband's steak was incredibly tough and had a lot of gristle and fat. Very disappointing! He left half of it!We decided not to stay for desserts.
