Sunnyside Cattery

Cattery run by a cat lover. Have left Tiggy for anything from a couple of days to over 3 months. Always in good condition and happy when collected. The cattery is always clean and the owner continually making alterations to ensure the comfort of the cats. Wouldn't go anywhere else and would highly recommend Dawn and her cattery.

Top marks for Dawn and Sunnyside Cattery. We've just moved out of the area after taking our beloved Olly to her for the last 5 years. I couldn't speak more highly of the friendliness and service, and Olly was always perfectly happy when he stayed during our travels. I'll be delighted if we can find somewhere half as good in the new area. All the best!

Excellent cattery with very reasonable prices, run by Dawn who cares for our cats extremely well. Our two male cats have been going to Dawn's since they were 5 months old and absolutely love it at Sunnyside Cattery. They stay in the same 'chalet' which decreases the cost. The cats always come back from a stay at Dawn's (anywhere from a few days to two weeks) healthy, well fed, relaxed and as playful as ever and we have the peace of mind that they are safe and very well cared for when away. Dawn couldn't be more friendly and accommodating, extending their stay without issue on one occasion for a couple of extras nights when we were unable to return from holiday due to a flight cancellation. We will continue to use Sunnyside cattery for our cats in the future!

Our cat Poppy has been to the Sunnyside Cattery in December 2022 and January 2023,also Poppy has been so many times over 4 years also looked after our old cat Tilly. Dawn is such a lovely and caring lady, she looks after the cats so well as if they were her own, nothing is too much trouble, she feeds them whatever you give them at home and has time to play with them. We would definately recommend Dawn to anyone that was considering taking there cat there.

I would not ever use this cattery. I found the owner’s mannerism unacceptable and her reason for not taking cats for Christmas because she only takes “regulars” unreasonable. You do not get a second chance to make a good impression on new customers who make the effort to contact you and who are polite. It is an absolutely disgusting, vile attitude and mannerism to state that if “other catteries did not take waifs and strays” that our cat would have a place for Christmas. She is referring to others cats and if you take the time to read this, she is referring to your cat to. I hope that anyone reading this feedback will think twice about asking Sunnyside to look after their cat. If her mannerism has been like this with me, I suggest you take your money and go elsewhere and that goes for her supposed regulars too! What a terrible experience and a bad introduction to this cattery. I am pleased I did not have the opportunity to pay her a penny of our money.

Dawn was kind enough to care for our British Shorthair Kitty a week ago for us, we were really nervous as Kitty is still a baby only 8 months old! As promised Dawn cared for Kitty with as much love as she would her own cats we are so glad we choose Dawn for Kitty’s first cattery experience and we will definitely be back ! Our cat Elliott has been holidaying with Dawn for several years, and he wouldn't want to go anywhere else! Dawn always goes above and beyond to accommodate us, and Elliott is always comes back happy, and softer and cleaner than before his stay. We are really happy with the care that Dawn provides to our boy, and her prices are extremely reasonable. Dawn is personable and always takes time to chat. Sunnyside is very popular and several of Elliott's cat friends/neighbours also regularly enjoy the heated blankets at the cattery.

We had our girls Bella and Pearl 2 years ago from Dawn and they love going back to her for a holiday. Dawn really cares about them and loves them just as much as us! They always come back happy, healthy and well looked after.. I wouldn't leave them with anyone else. Thank you Dawn for always taking such good care of our girlies.

5 years ago me and my mum got socks a lovely little kitten with white paws now a 5 yr old! But dawn was lovely and the cats seemed healthy so I’d very much recommend getting a cat from here especially since it’s a rescue (I’m pretty sure)
