Lovely food, friendly staff, will definitely be our go to Turkish restaurant from now on. Just be aware of the table by the open grill in the kitchen! Wow it’s hot sitting there. We had to move, as did another couple.

Truly excellent experience, food, staff, ambience all greatI actually wasn't hungry but had to wait for something for a couple of hours and saw Troya right in the next street with very high review score, so I decided to check it.It is truly outstanding. Staff were excellent, polite, courteous and attentive.Very clean including small but very nice bathroom and food was delicious.Many thanks

Had my 30th birthday meal here. From booking to the meal everything was seamless. The lady taking my booking was polite and friendly. Then the day came and they were all ready for us. The waitress took our drinks orders as we were all arriving. Then took our food order as soon as everyone was ready. the starters came out quickly and were delicious and the bread for the table was out of this world. Then the mains arrived. Oh my god it was delicious. I got a mixed grill. There was so much and it tasted amazing. Everyone in our party agreed that they would definitely come back. Then when it came to paying we were very presently surprised how cheap it all was. We will be back very soon!

Celebrated my wife Laura's birthday @ Troya and would recommend as the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Had a 10 minute wait as full house but were given complentry drinks whilst waiting. Laura had Scallops for starter followed by Monkfish and I had the Steak, both excellent. They served a free birthday cheesecake for Laura and free shots along with a very generous discount for the earlier wait. Thank you Troya for a great evening !

I had such a lovely meal at Troya this evening for my birthday with my family. We were a big table of 10 and they were so accommodating. The service was the best service I have had in a long time. Absolutely delicious! One of the best turkish restaurants in Southend especially for occasions. Went there on the weekend to celebrate my sisters birthday & it did not dissapoint. The service is also amazing & lovely atmoshphere.We ordered Calamari, falafels, Chicken beyti, mixed grill, Steak and adana kofte. Every single item was beyond delicious except the falafels which were a bit overcooked. Overall it was too good, can't wait to visit again. The staff was very attentive and polite including the manager.

Had a wonderful meal for my birthday yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere & service were great & when he clocked it was my birthday, out server got everyone (!) to sing & put a candle in my dessert ! It was reasonably priced, too. Will definitely go there again.
