Triple S Powder Coating

Hi just to let anybody know that triple s is a fantastic company ,I have had my motorbike frame and all the bits that go with it powder coated . the finish is superb, I also had all the brake parts done in bronze brilliant, Dave and all lads are great showed me round and explained the full prosses . they are the best there is out there.THANKS TO THE FULL TEAM CHEERS JOHN

CBX1000 Prolink / Full Frame - Wheels - Swingarm Powder Coated,Frame turned out perfectly smooth finish far better than any other powder coaters I've used in the past.Reverse comstar wheels was perfect quite a difficult task for this type of wheelFor the color and design I requested. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Visited Triple S on 13th of May to have x2 MTB levers & calipers powder coated satin black. Was told would be £60 and would have to strip them down, which was agreed. Took them back on the 17th of May to be then told would cost £120! I said as long as they are right I don’t mind paying £120. In which the reply was “They will be Mint”. Now my mint and other peoples mint are apparently quite different. After 11 days had a phone call to say they are ready to collect, so went to pick up the next day and what a mess they made!! Over spray everywhere, drip marks, tape glue, missing bolts and paint in places it isn’t meant to be!! One lever was that BAD I told them to do it again, in which he replied will be ready for Monday. Didn’t receive a phone call on Monday so rang up Tuesday and was told would be now Wednesday when I can collect! All very well but it’s not a 5 minute drive from where I live, it’s a 94 mile round trip and would eventually have been 4 times! The lever looks exactly the same as it did when I left it their, just maybe sprayed over the top of the previous paint job.. Anyway I wish I never bothered as these are NOT mint in any universe! Looks like they’ve been sprayed on by a 6 year old with a rattle can!! Would definitely not recommend if you like things right and have a small intricate part to be sprayed.I can see now why they do a lot of bike frames, very big, easy to spray, no masking involved and gets covered up in the end. After 2 days of looking at the hatchet job I couldn’t bring myself to put them on my £7,000 bike, so I flogged them for less than the whole job cost me!….

Top marks for David and his team. The job (powder coating of motorcycle parts) was talked through first to agree the work to be done. The parts were returned quickly - in 10 days, including delivery by courier - the quality of the work is superb. I'll definitely use Triple S again.

Had some parts for my Triumph Thunderbird Storm powder coated in satin black. The finish on these parts was excellent, top quality workmanship. Communications to discuss pricing were very good, and turnaround was quick. Highly recommended.

David took our metal garden set of table and 6 dining chairs a few moths ago (that I was about to throw out) and turned them into an amazing black gloss coated dining set to be proud of. amazing transformation and service.

Worst service I've ever had at a powder coaters. All bearing surfaces shot blasted, my front wheel had so much material removed one of the bearings fell out when fitting the opposite side bearing. When I contacted them they suggested powder coating the wheel again, including the bearing surface, in the hope that the bearing would then fit???????I found an engineer who I trust who would machine the wheel, when I told Triple S the price I was told to ask if he would take almost half his quote?I replaced the wheel as they wouldn't pay for me to get it sorted and I couldn't trust them not to bodge it.The swingarm is a total mess, the coating looks like a two year old slapped it on with a brush, full of orange peel and sagging, I didn't realise powder could do that.My sump as had almost every machined surface (underside) coated, so there's a chance my oil cooler lines will not seal.I was explaining what parts I needed masking on my first visit but was interrupted when they said they new what needed to be masked.My sprocket carrier had had several trips to a machine shop to get the sprocket alignment sorted, another machined surface they coated, now the sprocket won't even go on.I think the best part was when the owner said, in his defence 'we gave you discount' Oh that made me feel so much better.I spent over a £1000 with Triple S and sorting out their mess is still costing me money.Dave, if you read this, please don't offer to correct anything you've done.Recommend them?Not to my worst enemy!

Triple S Powder Coatimg came highly recommended by a number of people in the Motorcycle trade. Dave & Matthew and team did not disappoint. They made my spoked motorcycle wheels look like new, and the quality was fantastic. Old School down to earth service with modern methods and a very quick turnaround whilst being very reasonably priced too. I will definitely be using no one else in the future but these guys.

Great job of our new wine rack! Picked up and dropped off which is a great service. Sourced originally from an antique shop. Now looks amazing after Triple S worked their magic. Not the first item we have had done here and will definitely use again in the future. Fab job
