Lovely people, great quality meat. Hampshire Hog sausages are fab as are the homemade meatballs. Also stocks frozen quality fish. Worth a visit!

Great service - really friendly and helpful - as well as quality meat at a reasonable price. Cracking BBQ on Wednesday so went up again Thursday and had the same again!

I started to visit Butchers Block in 2020 when ‘lockdown’ meant all the local shops were lacking in produce. The quality of the meat from here is superb. A particular favourite in my family is the pork and cider sausages and gammon steaks. They also have great local products such as honey, pork scratchings and cheese.

Wish I had discovered this shop years ago. So far tried the meatballs and the sausages and both were above and beyond anything from the supermarkets. Friendly service, advice on cuts etc. nothing too much trouble.

Excellent local butcher. Great service. Had some superb beef joints for Christmas and Easter and we love their sausages and burgers. The butcher always has great advice about cuts, recipes, storage etc a d ask if you don’t see what you’re after

This Butchers Shop is utterly excellent.The quality of the meat and the variety of different accompaniments is absolutely second to none.To compliment the quality, the staff are just excellent as well, and the owner is always welcoming, polite and necessary for me, always willing to offer cooking or handling device for everything they provide.I promise you, you would always be happy with a visit to this shop!
