It was available and working when I went, but there needs to be a long row of chargers at all motorway services, not just one or two.

Very reliable EV charger. Super simple RFID with a bank card (no need for registration) simply connect, pay and charge. And a great service station to spend 30mins or so whilst you wait.

One charger for the whole of the motorway services is a disgrace. It's also not as fast as it says when you do get on it. Expect about 26kwh

Point for charging your Electric vehicle the only Point against this place was that there was not enough charging machines available. People at to wait which is not very good for a Service Station

There was a Leaf on the charger with the CCS free. Turns out you can't use the CCS while chademo is in use. How hopeless is that? One charger unit for an M3 service area. About as useful as a chocolate teapot!I know Gridserve took over from the largely useless Electric Highway but I would have thought they would have brought the provision on the M3 up to a 21st century standard.That's why range is still important. Better to get there and back without needing to charge commercially!!

Charging station worked fine with tap and charge. 65p/kWh seems a tad expensive. That may be due to me charging mainly at home.
