Had an enjoyable day with Roger at Frensham Trout Fishery. Me being a complete novice to fly fishing Roger was very patient and encouraging trying to perfect my casting ability. Managed to catch 3 and lose 1 but thats all part of the journey. Came away with 2 nice fish for the freezer. Can certainly recommend Castafly and many thanks to Roger for the day out.

Two friends of mine and I spent a lovely day fly-fishing with Roger in the Farnham area for one of our 30th birthday. We were all complete beginners and Roger was an excellent teacher with bags of patience. He was a total gent to boot and great company all day. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely lesson with Roger at a local lake. As an absolute beginner, he covered off all the basics and worked on getting my technique right - making sure I didn't run before I could walk! I was very much in control of the lesson and Roger worked to my needs and wants. A lovely morning and I went away with lots to learn and two fish. Thank you Roger.

Roger inducted me into the arcane world of fly fishing some years ago when I had a day out courtesy of Go Fly Fishing.co.uk. A very patient man he has been guiding me and now my son ever since. Recently three of us, two experienced fishermen and a relative novice had a splendid day in the sun with Roger on the Ginger Beer beat. In probably the best setting on the Test the fish went wild in the evening as the may fly rose and with them the trout. None of us left empty handed and many trout went back to fight another day including a very large one caught by Roger himself - quite a tussle to land too. Great day out for novice experienced alike.

I had a great day out in Frensham with Roger. Beautiful surroundings and great instruction. I even managed to catch three trout. Highly recommended. I can't wait for my next trip! Toby
