I am very happy with my experience of using Mike. He helped me design a kitchen extension with roof lantern. I would recommend his service because: he used his expert knowledge and relationships with the council to help us through planning applications with the council. He made getting structural reports required for the building a breeze. The costings for his work and expected costings from the council were very clear. He has very good relationships with our building company, soundhouse to help make things go smoothly. He was attentive to what my needs were.

We started talking to Mike soon after we bought the house at auction. We gave him a clear remit and after agreeing his fee proposal, he came back with some ideas. Very quickly we agreed on a final design, and Mike dealt with the planning application which sailed through at the first attempt. We appointed a builder in April and hope to have a completed house by early October. MFA has provided advice on my plans for various residential conversions and alterations and delivered supporting technical drawings.I’ve been happy with their work and highly recommend them.

Mike worked very patiently with me to design a plan for my loft extension and also a ground floor side extension. He listened to all my ideas/ concerns and responded accordingly. I love the final plan, which also suits my budget.Loft extensions can be a daunting expensive project but Mike guidedme through, taking the stress out of each stage.

We used MFA for the technical drawings and structural calculations for a loft conversion. Mike was excellent throughout, helping to suggest layout alterations and solutions to difficult design challenges. MFA take the time to visit the site, and are personable and professional throughout. The drawings are exceptionally high quality and communication is easy and responsive. MFA also supported us through the Building Reg application process keeping us well informed. I wouldn’t hesitate to use MFA again for future projects.
