Had trans fail light come on , on my BMW 840, it was diagnosed at an independent BM specialist then he recommended Oakdene for the repairs. Ron, who was the guy who took charge of the work kept me informed and assured me it was fairly routine and knew exactly what it would be. Collected my car and met Ron who talked me through everything and also advised best practice regards the correct way of expanding the life of an auto box. Great guy, and would not go anywhere else for gearbox related problems. FANTASTIC SERVICE

Had to take our car to the Ford Garage after spending a lot of money with Oakdene’s. Ford advised us to go back to Oakdene’s to ask them to refund for the mistakes they had made. All our dealings with Oakdene’s were fine until this point where they sent a very rude reply to us, which was totally unnecessary. We were left feeling very disappointed.

Really pleased with the service from Oakdene. It was a nice change after being messed around by other garages. They clearly know their stuff and the diagnosis price was fair for the amount of work they put into it.

Went to Oakdene Auto Transmissions as the reviews looked good on Google. Had a problem with a Ford Power shift gearbox. The team went above and beyond to quickly find the fault and then carry out a great repair, car is now as good as new if not better ! Very helpful and friendly garage with great customer service, would definitely return and highly recommend.

Went to Oakdene initially to get my Range Rover Evoque diagnosed as it was having an issue with its' transmission, after some time driving, the car would jerk when changing from N to D. A transmission service didn't fix the issue, hence I came here. The friendly staff very quickly managed to diagnose the problem and come up with a reasonable and logical approach to attempting to fix it and as it turned out, all the car needed was a software update, which was also done here. Once again, a huge thank you for your great work, and excellent customer service.

When my automatic transmission Volvo started sounding like a grindstone, I'd taken it to a couple of garages and even called a few friends for help, all of them pointed me to Oakdene saying they're the best in the business.Finding a time to book my car in was difficult as they were quite busy, but once I got the car in, they were very prompt and were able to determine the cause of the issue from description alone.My repair was covered hy a warranty company which Oakdene are quite familiar with and were very adept with negotiating and communicating with them on my behalf. Their commitment to staying on 'my side' throughout was very encouraging. They have a policy to put as little on you as possible, sending all bills and invoices directly to the warranty provide where possible.For my repair, the warranty company were being quite difficult which I'd only found out about after it was resolved as they'd fought my corner behind the scenes.My repair took approximately 2 weeks and only genuine OEM parts were used which makes me confident in the quality of the repair.I'd only spoken to the receptionist, Kerry, and the mechanic, Kevin, who were both extremely pleasant and made me feel well looked after. While I didn't interact with the rest of the team very much, the general atmosphere of the garage is friendly and accommodating. Incredible service, I couldn't recommend Oakdene more.

Sorted my old Mercedes out. Needed someone who was capable of fixing and engineering a solution to my fault as ECU failure to plug into dealership computer. Oakdene did this, found the issue, repaired faulty part and got me on my way... so pleased with the fact they were willing to actually fix it after being let down by my usual garage... if I ever have an problem again with my automatic gearbox I'll definitely be giving these a call. Friendly, professional service from Oakdene. Thank you for fixing the transmission on my poor old Mercedes. It's known as the toxic biohazard" at home due to it mainly being used for transporting my dogs and various horse equipment. The interior may even get a good clean now! Proper good old fashioned service from the whole team. Many thanks and very highly recommended."
