A wonderful rugby clubhouse, recently refurbished with a decent bar and unusually not understaffed so drinks.Good people and a comfortable place with lovely locals who are good for any and all topics of conversation. There is food available inside, a nice touch is the outside grille area where various foods are also available.

Wasn’t a well organised festival. Had to park over a mile away, coffee cue took 25 mins (and was actually served stone cold instant coffee).

Had our son's wedding reception here last week with a sit-down meal for about 130 guests. Couldn't have picked a better venue - really helpful and friendly staff, especially Guy and Ruth, excellent food and facilities, lots of outdoor space. And the sun was shining! Highly recommended.

Signage would give the Impression this land wasn't publicly owned and accessible. Signs saying to keep dogs on leads until you leave the area. The council have informed me this public open space is leased with public access. Responsible and considerate use by public shouldn't be met with such negativity.

A large open space the joins onto Wimbledon Common, where you can walk, particularly when it is not in use for rugby marches.

As an avid rugby fan, I recently visited a rugby field that left much to be desired. The lack of seating options was a major drawback, making it quite challenging to enjoy the game comfortably. It was perplexing to discover that this field had not made provisions for basic spectator facilities.Another issue that dampened the experience was the field itself. Instead of a well-maintained playing surface, what greeted my eyes was a muddy and waterlogged field. It resembled more of a large puddle than a pitch suitable for playing rugby. The conditions were clearly not conducive to a game at its best, and it significantly hindered the teams' play and the spectators' enjoyment. To add insult to injury, the services provided were extremely limited. Refreshments were scarce, and what little was available fell short of expectations. The attendants, unfortunately, displayed a marked lack of professionalism. Their impolite behavior left a sour taste in my mouth and tarnished the overall experience. For any sporting event, it is crucial to have a well-prepared and maintained venue, as well as attentive staff. Unfortunately, this rugby field lacked both of these essential components. As a fan, I believe that a positive and comfortable experience at a sports venue enhances the overall enjoyment and encourages repeat visits. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this rugby field to fellow enthusiasts. The absence of adequate seating, the waterlogged and muddy field, the limited services, and the impolite attendants all contributed to a disappointing experience. I would urge the management to take these concerns seriously and make significant improvements to provide a more enjoyable and professional environment for players and spectators alike.
