After seeing mixed reviews about this carpark I was worried about leaving the car there. Although it doesn't look like the safest place (hence the 4 stars), our car was fine and the cost of parking was very low.

We arrived here after 6pm so it only cost us £2.20 to park here as this is the set overnight rate until 8am. This was much cheaper than parking on the street and paying at a meter. The car park was generally clean and tidy.

A bit dodgy area. Parking free from 6pm to 6am . But the machine still ask for payment which does not go through. 7 pounds for 12 hrs or 6am to 6pm, gets filled quickly in the mornings as cheapest in the area near the reading station.

How the hell do you review a car park ?Well you drive in, park your car, pay and go.Later on you come back and drive off.I could say the lines painted for the bays are of exceptional craftsmanship, but would you notice or care.It's a car park.Useful for parking cars and not much else.

This is such an epic car park, like the most car parky car park you will likely ever experience, certainly in Reading, if not the while of Berkshire and the South of England. Get there early because everyone parks for the day, commuting to London via Reading Station only a short walk away, and it's not at all big. At all. Not a particularly celebrious area either, keep valuables out of site or, better still, take them with you. Surface isn't very smooth, old worn and pockmarked concrete rather than tarmacadam. It's by far the most cost effective car park in the area, and comes highly recommended as a result.

Cheap place to park (£8 for 24hrs) but feels dodgy and the area is covered in potholes. Also sometimes the entrance is blocked by bins (see photo)

Awful place as is Reading generally. Parking is certainly an issue. This carpark is just two rows of cars with a narrow gap between. However, a huge low loader reversed up carrying two diggers which were being delivered to a yard at the rear and it stopped right in front of me. Trapping me in. Bye the time it moved into the yard it made me late for my pick up. The charge there for 2 hours is £2.10
