First time using this store. Before going I checked stock levels of what I wanted on line. On arrival did not have to queue, ordered items I required from a polite young man at cash desk. He went and collected my items, checked them off with me and then I was on my way. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Whilst the local handiness of the store is great and staff fantastic, the SF wholesale delivery system to it can be a bit frustratingly disappointing in that on more than one occasion now they’ve text me to say an order is in ‘ready for collection’ only for me to try and get there and the item(s) is not?

Great place, good selection, but alot of the semi large and large items have to be ordered , which means not always available the same day , so if needing for DIY job .........you might not get it finished ....unless you plan ahead .

We had a problem with a Titan pressure washer which we bought online some months ago. We contacted the team online and we were told to take the pressure washer to the Amesbury store for a swap.When we got to the store, there was no hassles, no one asked us silly questions and it was pretty easy to have our request sorted out. The staff processed our request without delay and suggested other stores closer to us to pick up the replacement. We opted to pick up at the Amesbury store and the replacement arrived within a day.We were also informed we had a £10 voucher to use in store because the pressure washer was selling £10 cheaper than when we bought. The sincerity of the team is commendable!

Very convenient for us. Usually find this Screwfix to have friendly and helpful staff. Majority of items seem to be in stock but some have to be ordered for 24 or 48 hours later. The new Screwfix app is very helpful all around.

Had a problem with a Milwaukee battery ratchet a good few months after I purchased it. It was exchanged under the 1 year warranty easily. Happy to spend my money here on equipment rather than try to save a few quid online now
