GAME section of sports direct is really cramped and boxed up stock like the lego and board games are all tatty and damaged video game Prices are £5/£10 more expensive than Smyths which is right next door

Absolutely rude. Walked in asked if we could trade in tablet. They tell us they cant because it takes 30 to 60 minutes and we arrived 50 minutes until store closes. A man says he can do it but a lady starts shaking her head at him like she wants us gone. She was very rude and wanted us out as soon as possible. There website is not updated do not trade in anything over a year old as they never told me that online but when I walked in they said that it had to be within a year old. We went to Cex who where much politer and helped us out. Don't go here to trade in old Electronics!

Just watch the pricing they was selling mad Max on Xbox one for £22.99 and on another shelf it was £14.99 and they were both pre owned and trade in is bad as well compared to cex

Pre-owned games boxes on the shelves but after waiting was told they didn't have any of the game in stock? Also went back to purchase another game just BEFORE closing time but was told the card machines had been turned off....... £50 of my money they will miss out on anyway

Reserved a PlayStation 5 on Thursday. Went to collect it on Friday and they had sold it to someone else! They only had 6. How they managed to get that wrong I don’t know.To make things worse they are supposed to email me or call me to update me about my reservation. Not heard a thing.

Friendly staff, good location (inside Andovers Chantry Shopping Centre). Though it's not the individual shops fault, but I feel Game is getting very expensive for 2nd hand games, especially within the first and second year of release, all mainly depending how popular they are, not that they're used 2nd hand items

The store itself is fine. But game are really overpricedUsed to be a 3star but no longer allow you to price match elsewhere when trading in so can't match trade in value with CEX around the corner.If looking to trade in, go CEX.If you want it cheaper, Amazon (or most supermarkets)

Spent one day with a friend of mine playing Pokemon cards near the back of the store. Over time more and more people joined in until our group became so big the staff got us a table and chairs and set us up in the back of the store.Staff very accommodating and friendly and got to meet some new friendly faces in a 'spur-of-the-moment' Pokemon tournament. Would recommend.

My brother took his ps4 in yesterday to exchange and was quoted the price it would be worth, we then came back in today to do it. From the start the member of staff serving us was being very short and blunt even though we said the product had already been quoted- not in a way that was telling them how to do their job but to be as helpful as possible. They said they needed to test it before taking it however they had a lot of stuff to do which we completely understood, but the manner in which they went about explaining this was very rude. They acted like my mum was a massive inconvenience for coming in and shouted across the store to another member of staff about it as if we couldn’t hear. As someone who has worked in retail i understand the pressure of having lots to do but if it’s between helping a customer or putting out stock, the customer always comes first you don’t dismiss them and talk back to them. My mum explained she didn’t have time to come back later today and they said to come back tomorrow but also in a rude way, more so to get her to leave than be helpful. It was a very hostile interaction and i’d be embarrassed of myself if i ever handled a situation like that. I then found out from my step-dad that he’s had similar interactions with staff in the store too so clearly isn’t a one-off occasion. Also we got more for it in CEX anyway so if the staffs goal is to drive potential customers to stores in competition with them then they succeeded.

Check stock online - plenty of stock - drive from Shaftesbury to Salisbury, go to shelf and collect item box on the shelf and take it to the till, queue up - get to till to be told they don't have any stock , so I ask why the box is on the shelf - smartarse says we had some in stock yesterday""
