The food was great here. However we had a very bad experience with the service. We had a family meal there tonight with two elderly members and we were rushed out of our table when we hadn’t finnished and were promised another table near the bar. However we got to this “table” and it did not exist and they expected two elderly people to Finnish there meal whilst standing up. This meant we had to leave and pay for all the food which we hadn’t finnished.

Dining made easy. One set meal with a starter, main and dessert. The servings are a good size with great flavours and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Worth visiting particularly as it's outside the city centre.

One of, if not, my favourite restaurant since I was introduced to it 5 years ago. The owners are all really nice too and at least one of them can always been seen working in the bar and restaurant

Always a good experience at the Britannia, it's a great idea to have one set meal for everyone which changes daily. They cook it fresh with seasonal produce making the food really good, they will keep topping up the dishes to make sure you are well fed and they are obviously passionate about offering great food. The service is always good and it's a reasonable price. Plenty of parking available and a separate bar and restaurant.

Wonderful meal, vegan no problem, lovely helpful staff, I shall definitely return to eat in unstead of just a takeaway, though takeaway was perfect. Must remember to call ahead in future, not drop in, though they couldn't have been more accommodating. Thank you.
