Overall, an impressive experience. Although, as I was in a rush, I did find it difficult to find the entrance to the Whitelink service on the Portsmouth side. The weather was awful but the crossing was smooth (that was both ways in a day).Yes, it is a brilliant service. Thanks.

Lovely smooth trip to Ryde and back to Portsmouth. Lots of space. You can take your bicycle on the ferry as well. If you are early, they'll let you get on if there is space. Very friendly and helpful service.

Frequent and efficient ferry service linking the Island to the mainland, the catamaran that I was in was spacious and I even got on the sun deck" on one trip which made the short journey pleasant (with jacket warmly zipped up!)"

First visit here since the refurbished terminal reopened so nice to see the clear spacious interior. The windows which look out to the harbour offer great views of all the local shipping movements. Arriving early meant plenty of seats to use while waiting for our departure. It also meant using the Costa vending machine for refreshments (options available subject to remaining supplies from the previous day). The staffed refreshment counter does not open till 0845 so just mentioning these details for your forward planning. With our empty Costa cups we did note the lack of recycling for these and while there are plenty of recycling locations for dry materials there was a lack of general refuse bins.As a person with limited mobility through a hidden disability I had not researched the accessibility options available, including the helping hands card. I will look into these in more detail though from initial reading I would recommend Wightlink to consider joining the Hidden Disabilities sunflower scheme as an enhancement of the accessibility offer. Another Solent transport provider hovering nearby has done so.Thank you Wightlink for a good travel experience between Portsmouth to Ryde.

Paid for a car ferry pass which was £330 for 10 crossings (£33 per travel & takes 45 minutes) BUT they limit the amount of bookings with a pass meaning only specific dates and times will be available when you book. I have now had to pay £107 for ONE WAY to get back to the island, as the other times had been taken by other pass holders so I wasn't able to use my pass on this crossing. So just be warned, it seems like a good saving to buy the pass but you MUST book well in advance... The prices are absolutely outrageous for a single crossing in my opinion :/

Attended the ferry terminal and pier on work related stuff, however have used the fastcat service previously. Fast and efficient with direct service to Portsmouth.

Great quick service. Sit at the top in good weather! Tip: If you are early for your booked crossing; they will let you on earlier ones.
