North West Aerials

I've used this company a few times and the first 2 times the work I thought was good bit the last time I used them I was told the aerials were nit fitted properly and water was running down the wire into my TV, I said your company fitted this aerials but he replied by saying they all need replacing so I said if water is running down them it's dangerous then replace. I had to go to work for an hour but when I got back he had finished which shocked me as 4 aerials needed replacing.I asked the guy to run the aerials in the lounge around the skirting board and not across the floor like he wantedto do, he dud not secure the aerial just threw it behind sideboard and plugged it in. This looks a complete mess and I hot someone else out to correct it and check the work , I was then told 2 aerials had not been reached and the 3rd had just had a bit cut off the end and a newconnector added so was charged £280 for 1 aerial. I would not use this company at all I'm a single lady living alone and they took complete advantage of me and after contacting them to complain I've had no response to fixing it.

I had a new New Aerial, New Masthead, Amp & PSU, with a 10ft Aluminium Mast and bracket fitted to my hotel on 23/10/19, which came with a 12 month warranty. This Saturday 7the March 2020, all my TVs in my 15 rooms have no signal. I called the office, and had an engineer on site that morning, but they were unable to fix the problem, due to new parts required. Dave the engineer, was very good, and advised the part would be ordered, an engineer would come back Monday morning. He advised me to call theoffice on Monday to get an ETA for the engineer. This is where the problem has started. Liam in the office was very evasive, not very helpful. He assured me that the part was being ordered and an engineer would be with me later. I called the office several times to chase, but just got fobbed off. So at 14.30 I rang the engineer from Saturday called Dave, and he came out, but with no new part, as it would appear Liam had not ordered the part. I do not appreciate being lied too.So now I still have no TVs working in any of my rooms, as Dave was unable to fix the issue So now I have to wait till tomorrow Tuesday to see if the part that I had been told was ordered, but was not, turns up, mean while I have some very unhappy guests, with no TVs working in the rooms. Very disappointed with the after service. The only thing I will say is that Dave tried his utmost to get me up and running again. But due to the part not being ordered there was very little he could do.

Fab communication from Dave & Ben re attending for appointment. Thorough assessment of the job and quote given, then completed the job straight away! Attention to detail excellent, explained everything they were doing, and all left clean and tidy at the end of the job. Excellent!

Arrived on time and as usual very helpful. I have used North West Aerials in the past and have always found them helpful and professional. Adam assessed the problem and advised me what was needed. Advised of the price. Undertook the work and checked the TV was tuned in. Great service.

Called to book a TV wall mounting quote/survey and was given a next day appointment in the morning, for which I specifically arranged to be at home. After no-one turned up and with no contact from North West Aerials, I called the office to be told that they would contact the engineer to find out what was going on.It's two days later and I still haven't heard a thing. Maybe they just don't need the work. Thank you for wasting my time.

I decided to hire this company due to its good reviews and the fact they purported to guarantee work - they certainly were not the cheapest option. Absolute nightmare from start to finish.The chap they sent out to do the work: 1) broke my guttering, lied about it, tried to get me to fix it at my expense until it was finally fixed by another employee 2 days later 2) then he opted to totally change the quoted work and put an extra aerial up because he couldn't be bothered dropping some cable 3) tried to leave having only completed 3/4 of the work because he FORGOT an entire 2 feeds 4) installed a splitter box instead of the work actually quoted - which we did not want 5) developed a terrible attitude because we asked him to return and fill every single hole he drilled into the property - he did return and made a joke of the sealing - see images. We complained vociferously about this, as we had been quoted £1000, a not inconsiderable sum. The owner Daryl came out to view the work and said he would send someone to repair it, then pressured me into writing a cheque, despite the work not being completed. I cancelled this cheque an hour later because we found out the extent of what awful work had been done.Eventually Bradley was sent out to redo the work, which he did and was highly apologetic, he then told us that the employee in question had been fired - I did not want or ask for this but he was so very inept I wasn't surprised. Fast forward 3 months later, I start to have trouble with my signal - I'm not happy as I felt it was too soon to have issues after forking out all that money. Guess who turned up at the door? The chap they had sworn up and down was fired, who was gobsmacked when he was told that. A very odd thing for a company to lie about. We are still awaiting for someone from the company to come and review the work. Employing this company has been a costly mistake in every aspect. AVOID like the plague.EDIT: In response to the owner's response to this review, we are STILL waiting for someone to review the splitter box, so your response feels rather weak.EDIT: Two years later and £700 lighter, the work undertaken by North West Aerials has finally been put to rights by Blackpool Aerials. Save yourself time, money, and stress by calling them first!

2 engineers came out the day they said they would, there was no need to chase them up. They were both friendly and professional. They were open about potential costs of the work which rang true with my research, though it ended up being cheaper. It was a simple fix which was resolved in about half an hour. We were charged £40 which we thought was fair for the 2 tradesman that were required. They were quick and efficient and explained what they are doing. They tidied up after themselves and were always courteous. We now have all our Freeview channels restored. We would use North West Aerials again with no hesitation.

Just had northwest Aerials out for advice on a problem telly from phoning to job done and dusted new aerial and tuned in 1 hour 30 mins Adam did the job lovely guy friendly and courteous highly recomend this firm nothing too much trouble Thankyou.......

Fantastic service from North West Aerials. Same day service. Identified the issue straight away. Very reasonable quote and the job done in about an hour. Very professional and knowledgeable. Saved my bacon again. Would highly recommend. No B.S. Just good old fashioned service
