I found Dede through the positive Yell reviews and have gone there several times with my high end items. After first testing her out with one of my more inexpensive sports coats, I've gone back continually since. If you're a novice to getting your clothing tailored, she will explain exactly what she feels is needed, and she won't try to upsell you on anything, which I really loved.A few extra quid will be well worth all the compliments you get.

Great tailors with much attention to detail. Most recently Dede altered a pair of leather trousers for me and was very meticulous in ensuring we were getting the right length. Lovely family run business.

Would highly recommend. Not the cheapest but if you want a quality finish then you definitely get value for money.

I bring all of my clothes here to get altered. The owner is extremely friendly and will work with you if you need the clothes back quickly. The prices are more than reasonable and I always leave with everything always looking like I bought it right off the rack and it just happened to fit properly.One of the best things about them is that they don't rush you out of the door like some other places.

I have been to Dede's a few times with several vintage band t-shirts that need altering/mending and also had some suit trousers fitted for a wedding and the quality and speed of the work is always outstanding! Dede and her son are very friendly and if you need anything tailored worry free definitely go here!

I found this shop by chance, whilst taking a short cut one day, and glad i found it. I would most definitely recommend this shop for high clothing alterations, as i have had many things done here, that my local guy refused to do, citing they were either too complex or risky. Deedee has pretty much altered my whole wardrobe, and precisely how i wanted it.Thank me later.

CROOKS AND LIARS!!!!!! My partner took his jacket in, was quoted a ridiculous price and was told it would take over a week. Having never used a tailor before he left it there. I went in 24 hours later to ask for the deposit and jacket, they said no and claimed to have opened it already. I asked to see the work and they refused claiming it wasn't on the premises, I told them that was illegal. The wife and mother started screaming and shouting at me and the husband claimed they all went to London school of fashion, I asked to see certification and they don't have any, also I stated if that was the case they would know the law. After an hour of discussion, The wife screamed at me and said my partner could pick up the jacket unfinished (still no proof it was started) and we would get our deposit but only if my partner came in alone. Went back a week later, the couple were on holiday, my partner went in alone. I see the mother talking and gesturing, I went in and she is claiming they finished the work on the jacket and want the money. She wouldn't allow him to try it on without the money and refused to honour the agreement. She took the jacket off the rail and I hid it. She claims the daughter is away until December (probably another lie) taking the issue to trading standards and CAB. STAY AWAY!!!! Completly dishonourable and disgraceful customer service and trying to play me and my partner off of each other. Disgusting!!

Dede repaired several pairs of Jeans and replaced pockets far better than I thought possible. Also shortened a pair of jeans perfectly and replaced a zip in a Wool Technical jacket. Thank you.
