Totally in love with your Sunday roasts , which came with lots of gravy and veggies. What's more, the meat was incredibly tender and delicious. Planning to go again and try more dishes on the menu! The only off-putting thing for me was slightly greasy tables, but it didn't ruin the overall experience.

A nice pub with plenty of car parking and lovely views. The log burner was very welcomed on a chilly day like today. We attended a private party today. The bufet was really nice with a good selection of hot and cold finger food and beautiful scones with jam and cream. The staff were friendly and helpful.

First time visitor for Sunday lunch. Has to be one of the best place around for a fantastic Sunday dinner. You will not be disappointed. Plenty of meat, and vegetables for anyone who is hungry. Will be back in the week to try other menu choices.Shame breakfasts are no longer being served. But understandable based on location and current climate.Really hope this place does really well, the staff all worked really hard to make our meal special. Thankyou.Sorry I did not take photos this time, I was too hungry :-)10/10

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit on Sunday. The food was delicious and even had a vegetarian sausage option which was good as lots of Sunday roasts don't have a vegetarian option (cousin thought they were really nice). I have only given 4 stars for atmosphere as the music seemed to get really loud, seemingly to be heard over the crowd but I understood it was Sunday and really busy. It wouldn't put me off visiting again.

We were welcomed warmly and seated in a position with a beautiful vista of the countryside. The food was absolutely delicious and well priced. The atmosphere was extremely pleasing and very comfortable. We will definitely be booking a return visit.

The food was absolutely beautiful and we could not fault it at all, the service throughout the meal was also really good. However we were left very disappointed with our visit at the end of the night as the staff suddenly became very rude and abrupt, it was clear they wanted to get everyone out and leave and they didn't do it in a professional way. We made our way out to finish our drinks outside, allowing the staff to clear up our table and then again they came outside very rudely expressing they are a restaurant not a pub. We had dined, we were not visiting in a pub capacity so that comment was not required. Very disappointed and ruined what had been a pleasant night up to that point.

Came here for lunch and the food was lovely, everyone in my group had something different and we all enjoyed it. The staff / service was great! My grandma struggles with steps and they were able to let us in using a different entrance with no issues. It was our first time here and I’d definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We called last minute and booked Sunday lunch. I had chicken, and my husband had lamb shank. Both came with plenty of vegetables and a nice pot of gravy. We enjoyed a good plateful of nice food. The staff were quick and very pleasant. We will definitely visit again.
