St James Street Car Park
Expensive by the hour, and you have to pay on entry (if you don't know how long you'll be, fear makes you pay more to avoid a fine), the machines are old so therefore they don't give change or pro-rate your allowance (I put in £3 for one hour and it took the lot, and didn't put the extra time I paid for on the ticket - this should be considered as theft), and they don't accept cards. Avoid, and find a more modern place to park until these cowboys can offer a reasonable and fair service.

Conveniently sited open-air pay-and-display car-park. Ideal for access to the High St and city centre shops - and perfect for collecting items from Richer Sounds. Machines take cash or cards. There were plenty of spaces available mid-afternoon on a Wednesday when I used it.

Good location and easy to park. Used the paybyphone app to pay (easy). However I thought that £10.20 for 6 hours on a Saturday was excessive, hence not 5 stars.
