Bannatyne Health Club
Fantastic facility. I only use swim/spa. Staff are first class here and couldn't be more helpful. Cleanliness is excellent and the staff are always cleaning. My only moan is the spa is a little on the hot side and as this tub helps my arthritis I like to fully relax in it but when it's too hot I can't. When I tell a member of staff they immediately test the temperature and will turn it down if necessary , so again great customer service. Love it and well worth the money to me. Thank you.

Head office have now instructed the gym to turn down the temperature in the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi by around 4 degrees each. Most days the pool is freezing and uncomfortable, the steam room is absolutely useless and hardly a steam room at all. Aircon is switched off and anti bacterial wipes are constantly not replaced in the gym. The stationary bikes are mostly all falling apart and have done several times whilst being used and people have been falling off them. They've had years of cheap fuels and kept the profits now it's costing more they're cutting costs. Just keep this in mind if your about to join as they won't tell you any of this. Staff are friendly.

Despite having visited multiple times when visiting from Australia l was greeted with unhelpful staff after driving 50 mins to get to the gym recently.I was refused entry due to my ID not being ‘scannable’ -( despite it being legitimate Australian ID and having visited within 12 months.Extremely disappointing after spending a lot of money on causal passes.

Only visited because there's an Instavolt. In overflow car park which was almost empty so I could charge leaving the caravan hooked up. A real bonus. Can't comment about the club.

Excellent Gym, great facilities, a huge variety of classes to suit different schedules and great equipment to suit everyone in the recently refurbished gym upstairs. Pool and spa facilities are always clean and the majority of staff are really friendly. Changing rooms are always clean and tidy. Other facilities available such as sun beds and cafe. The cafe serves a great variety of food and drinks, including a lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. More expensive than other local gyms, but definitely worth it.

Dreadful customer service this evening when as a visiting NHS professional I enquired about attending a class this Evening after work at 7pm and tomorrow before I go to work at 8am . Although a member of Bannatyne for many years in Edinbugh I was offered a day pass for £25 and another at £25 tomorrow. Without being able to book a class. Disappointing to say the least
