Pic Tor War Memorial
Stunning war memorial with amazing scenery. Really serene and peaceful area and absolutely worthwhile of the walk up. The effort the construction must've taken is definitely worth it.Graveyard in the nearby church on the way down if you choose the less walked path is also worthy of a respectful walk around.

It's a bit of a challenging climb up to the memorial, but well worth it for the view from the top.

A very nice walk to the war memorial, quite a winding walk to the top through the trees. The views over Matlock and the surrounding area are well worth it. There are Bench's should you require a wee rest and on the sunny day you can see almost all the town. You also get a great view of Riber castle.

Pic Tor War Memorial
The way is spooky, if you’re alone then deffo you will get goosebumps. You will get a feeling that you’re walking from a forest & more over no proper sign post to guide the path. During the daytime a person will get scare by seeing the path. Google maps will not show proper location, if you follow maps then you will end up in circles. If you reach this point here always use the aerial view in google maps to find the location quickly.

Stunning war memorial with lovely views of the area. Graveyard and church just below the memorial are also worth visiting.
