It is not possible to rate this place highly enough. Fantastic service. They will make up the colour and sort of paint on the spot and they are local independent traders who give the big traders a run for their money on price. I would not go anywhere else now and others say the same. A Crookes gem.

Brilliant shop. Full of everything you could possibly need and they'll happily order things in that they don't have.Everyone who works there is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.Why spend a small fortune of farrow and ball or little greene paint when you can buy Excellent trade finish paint and have it mixed into any colour you want!? They have pretty much every colour in the computer. We've had loads of F&B colours mixed there.Tons of accessories, brushes, primers, filler, wood paint, waxes, literally everything.Don't bother with anywhere else :)

Friendly and helpful advice every time I visit Carracks. Tons of wallpaper books to peruse and plenty of tools to buy for most household DIY/pro tasks. They also mix Dulux paints. Can get busy in here due to its popularity but hold tight, the friendly staff will get to you as soon as they can.

Not just the best paint shop in Yorkshire, also really good value and always happy to give advice. We buy all our paint from here, and it's always great quality with consistent colour. There should be some kind of rating scheme for shops like this, where women are treated exactly the same as men when buying home decorating and DIY products.
