Brilliant area for walks cycling and dog walking also horse riding North Tyneside coucil and the mining industry have turned the area into a wonderful country park area.

Car park has plenty of spaces but they are a little on the right side it would appear.Nice area to have a picnic, though next to the car park. A park map shows other areas to eat if you want a walk as well.Lovely park for walking, bikes, walking dogs etc and children.

A breath of fresh air, well laid out and no commercialisation. Seems most used by dog walkers but plenty of space for runners, cyclists, disabled and walkers. Like I said, well laid out. Other councils take note.

An excellent stop off for a walk if you're in the North Gosforth vicinity. We headed there after a round of crazy golf at the Gosforth race course to fill out the afternoon. See the attached photos to get the gist of it, but it was just a very enjoyable walk on a super sunny day! Lots of people cycling too.

It's a good carpark to explore the country park, plenty of space and most imp free. Felt pretty safe leaving my car there.
