We walked in at 7pm on a half term holiday midweek. Place was not overly busy. But Hamza the waiter already told us they are short staffed and to bear with them.We didn't mind this as he forewarned us.After waiting 10 mins, he sat us down and took our order. Said all the food will arrive within 20-25 minutes which it did.Food was lovely and spot on. From the starters to the mains. They catered for my sons Nut Allergy as well (unlike Torros) and told us everything is freshly made and nothing is pre cooked etc.Mocktails are really nice as well.

My friend wanted to try this place and I had never been and so we decided to try it out. I had a chicken burger with masala fries and the food was quite nice and reasonably priced. The chicken burger tasted similar to a Nando’s burger and the fries were nice with plenty of masala spice on them, I also tried a lamb sheesh kebab which was quite. The service was good and the only drawback was that they took cash only and i had to go to a nearby ATM to draw cash out.

The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters. As you can see from the pics we went all out and we weren’t disappointed, they were exquisite. The main course consisted of a variety of freshly cooked dishes, fish, meat and veg, my favourite was the sea bass which really thrilled us. It all was followed by a delicious array of desserts with a scoop of ice cream as an accompaniment. The service was first class and we had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to the Food City restaurant.

The food wasn't amazing, I would reccomend going elsewhere for food. However the interior is nice and aesthetic, it's a shame the food didnt taste as good. The pasta was too creamy and we all left with bad stomach pains. The only good thing was the mocktails which had good flavour to them and were refreshing. They also have a shisha lounge.

The food was good, the presentation was great and the service was excellent. Hana, our server, was very attentive and pleasant. The mocktails were very tasty. Would go again.

Does Bradford really need another restaurant ?It's a question I asked myself as we visited Food City on Great Horton Road in Bradford. The exterior was like a jewel with a stunning glass front. The interior was even more exceptional. Lots of space between tables and booths for families perfectly placed to watch the world passing by.The image of the restaurant was only enhanced by the effort and warmth of the amazing staff.Don't think I have ever seen an owner in a restaurant before. He visited us at our table and said Hello".His passion to deliver the perfect experience for all his customers was an unusual and very pleasant thing to witness.Once you review the menu you realise It's appropriately named "Food City"There were burgers of all types and you could spend the whole day trying to choose one. There were pizzas

Service was good. They where pretty quiet so we did get a lot of attention.Ordered a mixed variety of food. Took around 20 minutes to come to the table which was not too bad.Chicken variation was pretty good.Lamb chops were good.Steak was cooked perfectly, could have done with a bit more salt and pepper.Sweet potato fries were amazing.Lahori fish was good but I did find 4 bones on my second bite which put me off eating it further. This would be a 5* review how ever the bones in the fish let the place down. When you pay decent prices and food is that well presented you expect 0 amateur mistakes.

Food City Review**UPDATE** New Ni Hao Indo Chinese restaurant is opening on 1st August.Located in a popular Bradford Street, Food City is a new restaurant we saw driving past, and being HMC we decided to pay them a visit. The deco and feel of the restaurant is modern and welcoming with a nice waterfall in the entrance. The restaurant is laid out over two floors, but the upper floor doesn’t seem to be in use. It wasn’t busy when we went but there are some seats for waiting. A staff member greeted us and showed us to our table.Food City aims to offer a World of culinary under one roof. The detailed menu reflected that with lots of options from burgers to pizzas & pastas to Indian Cuisine. We were spoilt for choice! For the starters, we ended up ordering:Assortment of Poppadoms - A unique variety of poppadums with 4 home made dips. Great to begin with. The dips were amazing.Arabic Meze - Hummus, mutable & tabouleh accompanied with fresh naan, selected prime olives & jalapeños. The naan was served hot and fresh.Chicken Wings - Seasoned triple wings crisp fried, tossed in Jamaican spice. You can also choose a BBQ flavour. Tasty, but the wings were small and seemed a little overpriced for what you were served. For the mains we chose The Royal Thaal as we can try out the best of Food City. This included Fish tikka, Chandni Tikka and single Lamb Chop. Chicken, Lamb & veg curries as the mains and Pulao, Naan, salad, raita for the sides & Gulab Jamun for dessert. It is described as a complete meal fit for royals and a great way to try out many items. We loved all the items on this platter.Being a new restaurant, service was just on par, with some young inexperienced staff serving.Food City have a prayer room upstairs. There is no car park, but you can park on the street. Food City is HMC Approved. Our Rating: 7/10
