Fordham Park
I walked through here today as I was just passing. Fordham Park is a good size for the kids to play football, cyclist cycling through, kids climbing frames and sand area. A nice spacious area I feel! They cut the grass today which smelled nice and fresh! I just wish they would cut all the area instead of leaving the weeds to grow. I don't know why they seem to do that in the majority of these types of parks. They would not do that in royal parks so why these ones aye? Sort it out! :P As these could prevent bugs and things!

Fordham Park
Decent park, no facilities such as public toilet or water fountain anywhere nearby. Closest place is the loos in big Sainsbury’s - quite a trek away!

Fordham Park
This is perfect for bringing children to play. You can look at them next to them and let them play on their own. It's safe and you don't have to worry about anything.

Fordham Park
It's a fabulous local park with swings and a path, just under half a k, around it, smooth enough to skate on.

Fordham Park
Lovely little park, great to chill in the sun or go for a run. There's a basketball court, table tennis tables, and a green for football, as well as playgrounds for younger and older children. Not ideal for adult cyclists due to the small size, but ticks every other box.

Fordham Park
This is a small, green oasis in the south London urban jungle, just off the busy New Cross Road. There are seats and a play area and plenty of grass for a kickabout. No cafe but plenty of places nearby

Fordham Park
Local park for local people. Chilled vibe, wide open areas to enjoy and little nooks to relax in.

Fordham Park
A large field, encircled by a wide path with play areas at either end, Fordham is quite a community hub and the start of a pleasant way to get to Deptford.Often you’ll find something is going on on the grass, from organised sports to mini festivals. It’s very much local events for local people with family gatherings. The path around the park is flat and makes the whole place feel much more safe as a result. It’s where you’d take a kid to learn to ride or go for a gentle stroll under the trees. At the Western end there is a play park in the sand with a wooden boardwalk around it. Teens sometimes frequent the large swings and toddles scoot around at high speed - mostly for young kids.At the Eastern end there is a wooden climbing structure with netting, more sand, and bouncy platforms - more for older kids. Next to that is a basketball area and concrete ping pong tables. The park feels enjoyable and safe, only one road back from the main A2, it feels quiet while enjoying proximity for chips and coffee. It does need a little TLC and something new, the moving wooden stuff has stopped moving, the kids playground is showing wear and tear but if you want a place to while away some hours on a Sunday - even get a tan - give it a try.

Fordham Park
The whole park was littered with rubbish, alcohol cans, food takeaway boxes etc. Looked an eyesore! The playground itself ok for toddlers, but not suitable for older children.
