I recently completed the ‘Advanced complete makeup artist’ and it was the best decision I could have made. I would highly recommend Delamar to anyone wishing to train or up-skill at any level.I came in as a complete beginner with no previous experience (I was a mature student having a complete career change). I was nervous about this but there was no need to be. You’re taught everything you need to know to start your career. Not only are you trained by the best in the industry who are all working along side teaching, but you also become part of the Delamar family which lasts way beyond graduation.The structure of the classes were a perfect balance of theory, observation and practical. The learning environment really does allow you to build your confidence, hone your skills and unlock every bit of creativity you have.I feel so proud to have completed the course and thank Leda and the team for such a positive experience.

I could not recommend studying at Delamar Academy enough - I did the 4 month Complete Makeup Artist course last year and had the most amazing time. I learnt so much more than I thought I would, from the most incredible teachers who are all so knowledgeable, being in the industry themselves. Each week was so different and exciting and now I really feel ready for whatever the industry has to offer. The ongoing support that Delamar gives you once you graduate is really special, I feel like I'm a part of a little family and now I know I can reach out whenever I need to for help or advice. I recently completed the Cert HE Professional Makeup Design 1 year course at Delamar Academy and I loved every minute of it. To learn in a creative environment taught by the best tutors still working in the industry was an incredible opportunity for me.I was able to build on my existing skills while learning new ones and how to conduct myself in the industry.I have become more confident as a person and artist due to the support I have received from the wonderful team at Delamar.I came in as a mature student, stepping away from a 18 year career in retail management and I can honestly say it was the best decision of my life.Delamar Academy has given me everything I need to start my new career and I will be forever grateful to them.

I have just completed the 1 Year Cert HE and can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made! I decided to study with Delamar after completing a year at university doing a makeup degree and feeling completely underwhelmed and defeated with what I had experienced. It was a very big and daunting decision to withdraw from uni, but I don’t have a single regret in doing so. Both quality and quantity of teaching at Delamar is incomparable to other establishments, with such intensive and passionate tutors- all currently and frequently working in the industry. I have left the year course noticing a huge jump in both my confidence and skillset, feeling more than prepared to pursue my career in the film & TV industry! If I could advise anyone who is debating doing a 3 year degree or a more intensive course, I would 100% recommend the latter as I genuinely don’t think I could’ve received anywhere near the standard of learning or support elsewhere.Thank you so much for everything Delamar!

I've just completed the year long course here at Delamar and it is honestly worth every penny. I completed a degree in Fine Art before studying here so was unsure if i wanted to go into education again but it is the best decision I've made for myself. The tutors here are the heart of the academy - each one working professionals in the industry so you're taught up to date and real life information. They are all so lovely, supportive and encouraging. The staff here who run the ship are also incredible, approachable and become your family quickly.All the equipment here is amazing - you have everything you need to learn about every part of the industry.If you're considering a career in the makeup industry there isn't a better place to study. The friendships I've made on the course will be life long and spanning across the industry so I know i have incredible contacts from the tutors as well as the upcoming stars I've trained with.

Iv recently completed the year course at Delamar Academy and just couldn’t recommend it enough !!!Iv had the most wonderful experience and have made some amazing friends , some of which I stayed with at the Delamar house for the year which was also really helpful living so close to the academy.I have always known I wanted to be a makeup Artist in the industry and have done other courses previously however the difference being taught by tutors who are so passionate about their job is just so inspiring.

After making the decision to embark on a career change, I have just completed the year course at Delamar Academy. It's been the best decision I've ever made for several reasons.As a mature student I felt very welcome from the beginning. The courses they offer are not just for those fresh out of school or college and there has been a variety of age groups and backgrounds.The tutors are incredible and still work out in the Film, TV, Theatre and Fashion industry. Over the last 9 months they've shared their practical expertise so that I feel ready to go out and start working. I've not just left with makeup and hair skills but a huge number of tips and advice on how to navigate working in Hair / Makeup teams - learning how to conduct myself in this environment has been just as important as the practical skills.The team who run the academy are brilliant at what they do. The end of the course doesn't mean I'm now on my own as I start my career. I have them behind me - they know my strengths and will be able to help guide me through the start of my new career as I establish myself in the industry.As someone who has wanted to become part of the film making process my whole life, I recommend Delamar Academy completely. I've left feeling excited and prepared for my new career - a very happy addition to the expanding Delamar family!

I'm a recent graduate from delamar. It's an amazing learning environment, you get taught by the most kind and knowledgeable teachers who really love their craft. I did the 22 week course and with that I've been taught a whole variety of modules that will help influence my decision in the industry as well as prepare me for jobs. The contacts and work you get from this course was a main reason I chose to study here, and I'm happy to say after finishing my course I'm still receiving aftercare. If you speak to anyone who's studied here they'll tell you how fun and special this time has been.

When I first found out about Delamar and saw all the courses and their curriculum, I somehow knew it was the best place I could be. Started following them on Instagram and used to see all the students work and always be so impressed! And when I finally went to Delamar, the reality exceeded my expectations all the more. The tutors were just amazing and always there for us. And the entire delamar family is just so warm and welcoming, and always extend their support. I had a wonderful time and learnt so much in such little time, I cannot wait to go back and learn more!
